AL: Franciso Liriano

Doesnt have the hype or the team that a guy like Papelbon or Verlander does, but is extremely good for a pitcher.

NL: Dan Uggla

Very good young power hitter. Fairly solid at his position as well. One of the few bright spots on a dismal Marlins squad.

first dislocation, collapsed on mound; after rehab, returned to game; first game back, injury occurred again in the midst of a pitch. I think he is right-handed.

how bad is the National League?
St. Louis can loose 8 in a row. and are still up 2 games in the central.

Arizona Diamondbacks are 3 and 21 in their last 24 games. and are only 3 games out.

only 2 NL teams have winning records against the AL.

Ouch!
