I think it's possible that he breaks .400...especially with the way he's hitting right now, but there is still a long way to go. If he's hitting close to .400 come mid august then there's a discussion to be had

He has a great swing and uses the whole field. Yes he can, but will probably come up short. Hitting.400 is too hard.

No way. The average almost always declines throughout the season. He'd have to be hitting like .430 now if he wanted a shot.

I don't I think George Brett has been the closest to .400 since Ted Williams. I don't think it will happen again. It seems to be mostly about power instead of talent now.

the way he is going he could do it but there is still a lot of games to play!. somewhere during a season there is a slump for every ball player. maybe mauer will be the exception. i have 12 fantasy baseball teams and mauer's is on 9 of my teams!
