I have been a Mariners fan for years. When I used to go to the KINGDOME the Mariners had the 3rd base dugout. When Safco Field was built the Mariners moved to the 1st base dugout.....As I was watching the Mariners/Diamondbacks last night the Mariners were in the 1st base dugout. Did I miss the boat??? Or is it teams choice, on what dugout they use?

Your all boasting about how you beat the Yankees and they havent won for 5 years and they suck. Well for one thing even with all the problems going on with the Yankees they are still winning games, and that is because every one is stepping up on the team. And as for not winning in 5 years...whats that...hang on................................................Boston didnt win for like 90 so theres not much room to talk!

How could Boston fans still love a player who has the worst attitude in baseball...Pete Rose & Darryl Strawberry are better then this guy! And he has the ugliest hair known to man. I just don't get how Sox fans can boo Johnny Damon who was Mr. Nice guy just because he plays for NYY and applaud this idiot

Just wondering because I'm going to the game today and maybe they will make it 14 in a row? I just want them to be #1 at something, even if it is losing the most games in a row.

I asked this question a few days ago and all the Mets fans came on and said, "wait until they play the Mets". I think the Braves gave the Sox better games. So I ask the same question again.

They have 10 (count them....10!) series sweeps.
1 8 game winning streaks.
3 6 game winning streaks (currently working on #3)
3 5 game winning streaks.
2 10 game winners (Rodgers & Verlander)
Our Pitching staff has pitched 11 shutouts.
They have the most wins (54).

Are 29 games OVER .500

All this before July 1st.

Even if they finish the rest of the year at .500 they would still win 96 games.

That should be good enough for the wild card.

And please....no way do they "fall apart" in the 2nd half.

Jim Leyland is too good a manager to let that happen.
