i comprehend what i'd opt to assert because i'm a die complicated White Sox fan, yet thinking the way that the Mets spend money they'd be a much better decision. The Mets have collapsed the merely right 2 years contained in the homestead stretch and characteristic tried to restoration this project by utilizing going out and signing 2 huge fingers for his or her pen (ok Rod and Putz). I truly have watched ok Rod stay lots of circumstances and he's somewhat filthy. i imagine that ok Rod is an exceedingly good addition to the bullpen and in the adventure that they could provide him the ball (if Putz continues to be healthful or doesn’t fold lower than the scrunity of the lengthy island media), he will finally end up remaining the door. The Mets have some astounding position gamers as well: Reyes, Wright, and Beltran. those men are unreal. the in person-friendly words sizeable chink of their armor is their initiating pitching, they are going to truly want to make yet another flow or have someone somewhat step up (Garcia or Perez). The White Sox on the different hand have the superb GM in baseball and a starting to be quantity of youthful, less costly skills. So if the Mets do not win contained in the subsequent couple of years, i does no longer be stunned to ascertain the White Sox heavily competing for yet another international sequence ring. initiating pitching is basic for any lengthy time period fulfillment and we've some youthful hurlers which have already validated that they could take care of the stress and would carry a team in a playoff race (i.e. Danks and Floyd). the project with the White Sox is that their default mode is to position self assurance in the homestead run. they have too many men that are not very athletic (for this reason the reason why they hit in extra double performs very last 12 months than the different team). i'm no longer certain what they are going to be able to do this 12 months, yet I do imagine that they are transferring contained in the right direction (in spite of if it places us out of the playoffs this 12 months). The wild card for the White Sox will be who is going to grow to be the 4th and fifth starters? If Contreras and Colon are able to stay healthful, the White Sox received't in person-friendly words win their branch, yet will heavily compete for much extra this season. If one or both one among those men are out, this can teach to be a lengthy season. So i wager if the Mets do not do it contained in the subsequent couple of years, then i am going to could say that i love the White Sox's.

Yes, I think they will. This year too.

As a Tigers fan I Hope my Tigers continue on thier winning ways, but I also know that The White Sox are just too good a team NOT to repeat.

I think The Tigers probably take The Wild Card.

It would be interesting to see The Tigers & The White Sox play for the ALCS.

The Tigers are for real....but not real enough to win The American League Pennant.

Also, I know that the yankees are now offically "history".

Right now Detroit is playing the best baseball of any team in the majors, however every player on that team is having a career year. If they can keep it up they will be tough to beat, however injuries and slumps happen in baseball, once that happens I think you will see the Sox are a deeper team and can handle problems like that better than the Tigers can. I hope the Sox report and I think they can.

I'm not sure if they will, but they definitely can. They're not even in first place in their own division right now, but they basically have the same pitching staff that won them the World Series last year with an even better offense. However, if they have to beat the Tigers and Red Sox to get to the World Series, that won't be an easy task.

Negative..You guys have hitting I will give you that...THe Twins are the best team not getting any love... 14 of their last 15 games and not gaining any ground on the Sox/Tigers punk behinds...
Mauer is MVP and Lariano is Rookie of the year...
Payroll of Sox= 100 million +
Payroll Twins= 48 million
You guys should win everything with all those players you have to buy not develop.
Weak.....Good luck with that crappy pitching..

GO TWINS !!!

If anything, they've improved over last year. The additions of Vasquez and Thome were good acquisitions by Williams.

If they don't repeat, they're going to get damn close. Would be great to sweep the Red Sux out of the playoffs again.

I think they will. They can score 20 runs one game and win a tight 1-0 game the next.
