There have actually been 4 players who have played all 9 positions in a single game. the first to do it was Bert Campanaris in 1965 for the then Kansas City A's (now the Oakland A's) , Cesar Tovar accomplished it in 1968 for the Minnesota Twins and both Scott Shelton and Shane Halter did it the same year 2000, Shelton for the Rangers and Halter for the Tigers. but it hasnt happened since 2000.

I believe Brandon Inge of the Tigers has played every single position except pitcher. He came up as a catcher, became a super utility infielder, and has a permanent spot at the hot corner now. He's also leading the Tigers in homers out of the number nine slot!

currently with the Cincinnati Reds
Ryan Freel is placed in just about any position....
He's usually in left , center , or right field
then they have him come in someime in play the infield
