How much of Jimmie Johnson's race team does Jeff Gordon currently own. He is always referred to as the team owner but I don't think he owns the controlling portion of the team.

combine the vast amount of money that the Toyota empire has for research and technology and combine it with the great engine builders and mechanics @ JGR, plus Smoke, Shrub, and Denny Hamlin as a stable of drivers it wont take long. It only took about 3 or 4 years for them to take over and dominate the Craftsman Truck Series!!!!

This is a couple questions rolled int one rant!

Dale Sr. ran hard to finish in the money to give his family money to eat. All I hear about now is 10 y/o's that are running Go-Karts and in an ARCA Car by 15. Is the fact that today many drivers that show a bit of promise are handed everything they could ever need hurting the image of nascar?

When was the last time a guy that you could relate to in victory lane?

With that said if I do not get my son in a Go Cart or quarter midget by 12 will he have no shot of racing?

Be honest did you like NASCAR more when there was less $$ and more unpolished drivers?

still wearing the #8 or displaying memorabilia with the #8 on it? I have tons of it, and I'm still gonna wear my jackets and t-shirts. Just gonna have to mix it up with #88. Unfortunately I still associate the #88 with Dale Jarrett, and the Big Brown Truck!

What do you think? Or is Gordon gonna walk away with 3 in a row? NASCAR fans only needed to answer.

I like Tony Stewart, so I hope he wins, but Jeff Gordon seems to be on a roll.

With such a dominating performance by Gordon this year, if anyone else wins the Chase would they be truley thought of as the season champion. The point that I'm making is that the season championship should be already decided because of the dominating performance that Gordon has had this year. If anyone but Gordon wins, they will not be a true season champion....that is why the point system is not working.

(even my friends that don't like Gordon believe he should win the championship this season)

I'm just gonna ask, as an athletic person, how in the heck is racing a car considered a sport. Don't hate, I just want an opinion.

Here goes Stewart again blaming someone else for his mistake. He blamed the 15 and the 9 for hitting him. Isn't it the responsibility of his crew chief and spotter to tell him when to leave the pit? He is shooting his mouth off again, same ole, same ole.

He was complaining about top five finishes and publicly criticizing his crew. As far as I'm concerned, he's getting what he deserves.

It was the late great Dale Earndhardt that said NEVER complain about top fives, as those are what wins championships.
