I don't know about Clint and Carl being cousins and have never heard that before. Carl IS cousins with Kenny Schrader and that's why many people call him Cousin Carl. Kenny has said that on Inside Nextel Cup before and it kind of stuck.
Edit: Carl is from Missouri and Clint is from Kansas.
