a person's religion is between them and whoever, or whatever they believe in. people on here need to stop trying to change others. everyone is entitled to their own opinion and beliefs, no matter who you are, and that goes the same religion wise. muslim, christian, jewish, hindu, atheist, etc., they get to believe in what they want, and everyone else has no right to say otherwise!!!
do you agree?

Were you living in your own private hell? How did you get of it? Are you still affected by it? What have you learned?

Note: Okay you don't believe in hell, I get it. Just substitute the word hell for something else.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, goodness, faith, - Galatians 5:22.

In your opinion, ... thank you all.

Are these people too square for normal stuff, who hate sex, and are generally uptight? Do they drink prune juice? Are they pimply virgins?

If I ask if a Christian is a sinner, I will get answers which say, "Yes, I'm not perfect, just forgiven," and, "Yes, I still sin or slip up, but my sins are forgiven by Jesus."

Then, if I ask if some infamous or generally disliked person was or is a Christian, I'll immediately get answers that, "No, he might have said he was a Christian, but he wasn't a "true" Christian!"

So, let me get this straight. A Christian is still a sinner, but only if they don't commit the sins other Christians personally dislike the most. Is that about right?

men who believe that God instructed them to invade other countries such as gwbush; and the other Stalins and Mussolini's of the world?
So many useless killings, murders and massacres. All have continued throughout the ages with no end in sight.
So --
I'm told that God has a plan for each and every one of us.
Thus
What is the plan for men like the aforementioned?

pls if you are not a christian, feel free to NOT answer

Deuteronomy 5:21- Neither shall you covet your neighbour’s wife. Neither shall you desire your neighbour’s house, or field, or male or female slave, or ox, or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbour.

Exodus 20:17-You shall not covet your neighbour’s house; you shall not covet your neighbour’s wife, or male or female slave, or ox, or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbour.

here's my question: i am looking at my neighbors house, and i am like 'i wish our house looks like that. look at the grass, its so green'(but you have no intention to steal or kill anything/anyone)

OR you look at a family that has everything going well for them, and you are like 'i wish my family was like that'(but you have no intention to steal or kill anything/anyone)

have you/i broken the 10th commandment?

i was watching pulic tv and i was so surprised at seeing a woman with naked breasts and that it was not censored. it mustve snuck by.
today i was watching Planet of the apes, and i realized why the sequel was made by using the clips from the end of the movie. maybe anyway, because charlton heston cussed the word "damn". growing up kids would have their mouth washed out with soap for saying the word "hell".

the term potty mouth is still used to define bad people.

this is a religious question due to the activists who proclaim their supeirority in not cussing. by down grading the working class. remember it is written that all blasphemies against God and Jesus are forgiven but not against the holy ghost. so how much less is cussing?
maybe this should be a different question?

When there are so many other religions with other creation ideas and other gods.

I mean I know different cultures grew up in different parts of the world, but if God was true, why would they not know about him.

I chose a best answer to my question carefully, because I wanted to make sure everyone was respected and treated equally. After close examination of all answers, I ended up choosing this one: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20071230211730AASmy1c&cp=2

The best answerer completely answered my question, explaining the reasons she refuses the existence of God, although I disagreed with her reasons.

Tonight I would like to know from all of you whether my views are flawed or contemptible regarding the natural existence of God, the creator for all things.

In accordance ro an Atheist “ I simply cannot believe what I can’t see.”

Of course not all Atheists believe in the same thing. Everyone has different point of views of life.

It is true we can’t see God visibly, but that is because God is not a Human-being, or “ Thing”

Just wondering. Because if we can, I'm gonna start an atheist "megachurch" and have a gym (but call it a "family life center", of course) with membership fees (but call them "love offerings", of course) and cash in, too!

Seriously, how far do they want to take this "atheism is a religion" idea?

Isn't the fact that the world is balanced on the back of an elephant proof of God? Who else could balance a planet on an animal?

Also, who else could make a turtle so strong its shell could hold an elephant and a planet? Obviously, God had something to do with it.

Do you think the universe is 6,000 years old as a literal reading of the Bible states, or closer to the 18 billion years old that science says. Do you think disease is better explained as God's vengeance or the influence of Satan as religion states, or germs, virusses, or genetics, as science says. Which does a better job of accounting for natural events like rain and storms and earthquakes and volcanos--the Bible, or Science?
