I'm a Christian and I wonder why we no longer greet each other with a holy kiss, as commanded by Paul in the bible. I think we should reinstate this!

I'm not sure either but it's not a requirement in church or for salvation.

This is still common practice in many European churches; but the men kiss the men and the women kiss the women. My husband had to get used to the idea before he went on his first mission trip to eastern Europe!

ok kiss doesnt literally mean go kiss them on the lips...it can be on the cheek...in our church, the coptic church, we do the sign of peace thing by touching the other persons hand, like palm in palm, and then kissing ur own hands....quite hard to explain but anyway thats what we do...

We've never done this in the church I went to, but there were some I'd love to give a kiss to!

It depends on the culture.... Americans tend to be a little stand-off-ish.
