Were you living in your own private hell? How did you get of it? Are you still affected by it? What have you learned?
Note: Okay you don't believe in hell, I get it. Just substitute the word hell for something else.

Anybody who is living in active addiction. I got out and wouldn't be able to begin to describe the experience here.
Addiction is slavery. Recovery is freedom.

Yes, I did answer your question. I gave you a serious answer too.
I do know what a private hell is like. I got out of it by putting one foot in front of the other and just going forward.
I learned that the quality of life is how I choose to live it.
God does not interfere with us here in any way.
PS I could not care less about the thumbs down from a fundie.

First of all I want to wish everyone a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!. Yes I am living in my own private hell but I can only hope things will get better over time. It all started in 2004 I met a wonderful foreign man on a singles chat line. It was like a dream come true to me. We finally met sometime in December of 2004 and hit it off great. He's a awesome cook, very clean, and outgoing. I told my sister one day that I met someone and that I 'm in love. She asked me his name, and when I told her she gave me this look of death. He is married came from her mouth and my world stopped. Let's just say I did'nt listen to her because he explain what happen between him and his wife to me. I got pregenat and things changed. To try and make this short as possiable I will only state some of the facts that make my life hell. During my pregenancy he was with someone else after his son was born he still continued to see other women while I did my best to provide for my kids and him, don't get me wrong he worked but all of his time was spent with the other women and not his family. This is my real hell: I 'm on a rent assistant program to help me cope with the disability of our son and my daughter, because I ouit my job that was going to fire me anyway with my son in and out of hospitals. I allowed this man to live with me for the sake of his son. Yet and still women are more important then his family. We are not married he is not on my lease so many times I have tried to put him out but he refuse to leave and here in Oklahoma the law protects him. It's call Common law marriage when someone lives with you but is not your spouse. So it's like living with someone you love but they never gave you the chance at love because the only thing that matters is their happiness. To those in worse situations may God bless and keep you this year.

I'm so tempted to feel like that now but God is still with me, and He alone is the way out.
