I do not still continue to do this serious sin but how can I feel bad about it?

Then why is there hell?

If the price for sinning is death, and ALL sins are the same in God's eyes, then why would we go to hell after we die?

Wouldn't that be like punishing us twice for the same crime, making us die and then sending us to hell on top of it?

that the Republican Christians would all label him a bleeding hard liberal. Jesus advocated peace, he opposed the death penalty, he believed in giving to the needy, you know, all the things American Republican Christians hate about the Democrats.

More and more Christians are looking for answers that their religion cannot explain in a rational way and that might explain the crisis.

John 4:24 says that God is a spirit. A spirit is a being with no body. So, where do you find the right hand of a spirit? And can you see this spirit to know where the right hand side of it is?

I mean, the things that were good about people or situations that were not good for you, and that you don't want back in your life. In your particular situations (no need to write about them, if you don't want to), have you found a way of keeping the good, while leaving the bad, or was it neccessary to leave all, to be able to move on?

I'm not asking for advice, this is a general question :)

Thank you for your answers! :)

Have a wonderful Sunday! :)

I am interested in Islam and international relations so I was thinking, when I am older, I may want to major in those to. But my problem is about Islamic studies. I am not Muslim and I have no desire to become one (nothing wrong with them, just not my lifestyle) and it seems that all courses and centers that teach you Islamic Studies expect you to become Muslim. Is that true that I will have to become Muslim and adopt that religion to take a course in Islamic Studies?

I mean taking bits and pieces from each religion that would help you in your life and rejecting that which does no good to you.

Essentially the metaphor I used was taking from each bucket anything that would help you get to your destination (lets call it happiness) no matter what bucket (religion) it came from. Then rejecting the other stuff in the buckets, the dead weights, that would only weight you down.

Rather then identifying myself as a Christian, Buddhist, Muslim, Hindu, or Jew I am my own self.

I am Athiest in a sense that I do not believe in a deity until there is scientific proof but I still use parts from each religion for wisdom. Mainly from Buddhism but there has been a few good sayings from Islam that I've heard.

Can someone please explain to me both sides of euthanasia (views of those in favor of the practice and those opposed to the practice) and then give your viewpoint and explain why you hold that view. In your explanation, use Scripture to support your viewpoint.

Thanks in advance for answering this question.

I believe that God enabled me with the ability to make correct decisions in life. He has given me the power to overcome all obstacles life may bring. I feel that I have the power of God inside of me.

I believe that this is what Jesus meant by asking that we respect the "temple". And he made mention of destroying the temple only to build it up again. Do you agree that this temple God refers to is the body?

I hate when people say that God is so good beause he did _____ for me. What about other people who don't have those blessings? Does God hate them? My parents always say that I should thank God for his blessings because I have food to eat, because I have a place to live and so on. But if God really is so great and God can provide for us, why do so many suffer. Almost everyday I hear a terrible story in the news about an innocent child dying, being raped. In many countries people barely get by. I am thankful for all that I have. But if God is the provider for all of us, I think he's doing a pretty crappy job at it. If God is really is so great he is pretty lazy. World wealth is so unevenly distributed. What the hell is God doing. Please don't tell me about the sins of Adam and Eve. They 'sinned' a long long time ago and there is no reason why God should be punishing large number of innocent people for Adam and Eve's 'sins' while there is a small number of people living the life
