If you don't like having anything to do with Christ in Christmas, then just don't celebrate it! I don't celebrate hannakuh because I'm not Jewish, so you don't have to celebrate CHRISTmas if your not christian. Why can't some people just see that?

For several years I have written down Christmas memories, prayers that God has answered, family get-togethers that enriched our lives, holiday meals that were blessed, the true gifts of the season.
This has become a tradition for me, to write these things down, not necessarily for myself but for my children in years to come.
Every year the item that tops my list? Family. My children, husband, my parents, who shared so many Christmas days with us.
Praise God for His wonderful gifts, His Son, His love, His provision-now and forever.
Each year as I review these memories I am drawn closer to Him because I see His work in my life and in the lives of loved ones.
Merry Christmas, blessed peace to all of you who call upon Him for salvation.

The fact that a man cannot have sex while drunk is proof that he does not exist. It's soooo not fair.

I'm doing a report on this, so I'd like to see what people will say.

If vampirism back then was anything like modern vampirism today (pretty much people who get REALLY sick if they don't drink blood, and a few side effects to light and stuff), would you get sent to hell for drinking blood, if it prevented you from getting sick, gave you energy, and made you feel a whole lot better, and calmed down cravings, if you were a Cathlioc, or Christan(sp)?

Sorry if that's kinda hard to understand, but I would really like to hear serious opinions.

Matt 10:34, Jesus said, "Think not that I am come to send peace on the earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword."
(36) "And a man's foes shall be they of his own household".

BUT Luke 2:14, says, "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men".

Could Luke 2:14 refer to the Peace made by Christ between fallen mankind and his creater, rather than between men?

2nd Corinthians 5:18-19, "And all things are of God, who HATH reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, RECONCILING THE WORLD UNTO HIMSELF, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation".

Yes, that is peace on earth, good will toward men!!! The gospel of the good news.

What do you think??

This might sound like a really strange question or that I am deliberately trying to wind up the 'faithful' but I believe that if we humans are to become truly enlightened inter galactic beings we have to let go of all our prejudices and look honestly at the humour in life. I hold a high respect for free thinking wisdom however it emerges. There is a curent incarnation of one of the most realised Buddhist teachers from the last century who is a cross dressing film director. His teaching on, and understanding of, human predicaments and the origins of suffering are impeccable. Can we accept that the Jesus of tommorrow might be quite different fromour expectations?

Most other nations (not English speaking) pronounce the "J" as an "I" (with an "ee" sound, as in "Hawaii")

They really ought to call themselves "Iohovah's Witnesses" or "IW's"

Why don't they? Since they are such sticklers about every other freaking detail?

I know the obvious...pray, surround yourself with good influences, read the Bible, go to Church, fast, etc. But what if you still feel torn? How do you know what is right and what God wants you to do.

Why do you religious fanatics keep peppering us with your dried out old phony bible quotations. When are you going to realise that is all you have. One book full of proven fabrication and contradictions and give it up as a lost cause?

How would the fight play out? A free-for-all? Santa & Jesus teaming up against Supes? Supes siding with Santa or Jesus? Would Superman even consider siding with Jesus, since, after all, he's a Rao-worshipper from the Planet Krypton? Would any party call in reinforcements (i.e., the Justice League or Supergirl and Krypto; endless legions of small, but quite vicious elves; angels, saints, armies of ex-lepers)?

Is there any particular reason why Muslims in general and Pakistanis in particular have a high number of children. I know many of them have at least 2-3 kids. Is it a cultural thing ?

Only God is to judge heart.
Men and women of God can start out with purest intent, but does something happen along the way to cause strong delusion? Has a line been crossed with "marketing the Good News", prosperity gospel?
Has God given you discernment?
Has the "fruit" done more to edify or tear down the Gospel?

The spread was a "love bottom line" one. and the question was about what is going on in his heart with regard to our relationship. I know tarot doesn't tell you everything. But i do believe in it and this spread looks pretty powerful. Let me knw what you think the tarot is telling me...

5 card, 5 positions, laid out in an arc (card 3, card 2, card 1, card 4, card 5)

card 1 (SELF) - Queen of Swords
card 2 (significant other) -- Ace of Swords
card 3 (advice) - ace of wands
card 4 (situation) - 10 wands
card 5 (potential outcome) - Queen of cups

THANKS!
