This might sound like a really strange question or that I am deliberately trying to wind up the 'faithful' but I believe that if we humans are to become truly enlightened inter galactic beings we have to let go of all our prejudices and look honestly at the humour in life. I hold a high respect for free thinking wisdom however it emerges. There is a curent incarnation of one of the most realised Buddhist teachers from the last century who is a cross dressing film director. His teaching on, and understanding of, human predicaments and the origins of suffering are impeccable. Can we accept that the Jesus of tommorrow might be quite different fromour expectations?

The Christ that comes back will be different from the one that came before. Instead of the suffering servant we shall receive the conquering king.

Good point. I don't believe in Jesus myself, but if he existed, he wasn't exactly widely accepted in his time, so why should today be any different?

No matter how He came back, we would still find a way to crucify him. Or perhaps it would his turn to crucify us. Hang around until he comes. We'll see what happens.
