I know the obvious...pray, surround yourself with good influences, read the Bible, go to Church, fast, etc. But what if you still feel torn? How do you know what is right and what God wants you to do.

If you have no peace about it, always back away. God's answers bring peace. When you just don't know.....wait. Only go forward when you are sure of God's answer.

I'm pretty sure God wants you to be torn about some issues. Critical thinking and problem solving are gifts God probably wants you to develop for the rest of your life. I'm a finite being and cannot understand the perfect, perfectly. Yet, I suspect that God understands better than we do that many of the world's most compelling problems are not cut-and-dried, so to speak. Your own indecision probably has a lesson in it for you to learn, somewhere.

What I learned from a book I read in 6th grade has been reinforced from my own experience: the best options for you are usually the ones that give you more options, the ones that make your universe a little bit bigger in terms of possibilities.

There's a good chance that you are having a crisis right now, so let's look at what a crisis actually is. The Chinese word for crisis is made up of two smaller words: one for "danger", and one for "opportunity". What you want to do in a crisis is be aware of the danger and look for the opportunity.

When you pray, do you already have an idea of what you want God to tell you? One of the biggest mistakes, I've made as a Christian is praying that God will just agree with what I want to do. Make sure that you are open to whatever answer God gives you and you follow through on whatever direction He gives you. If you approach prayer with a humble attitude and not with your own agenda then God will answer your prayers and lead you in the direction you are supposed to go. Merry Christmas and I hope I was a help to you.

Kepp praying. Talk to God out loud just as you would a friend. For instance I kept asking God what it is he'd have me do, what should I be focusing on now. The next afternoon I had a job offer to teach. If you don't get an answer right away, put it aside for the moment and focus on the 5 minutes in front of you. You will get your answer.

The obvious is right. The bible is God's word, and through it you learn many things. Including your qualities and defaults. What are you torn about? When we pray, God answers our prayers, but sometimes we don't see his answers, or refuse to see them. For instance, i was having a lot of problems with my boyfriend and i prayed continually for God to give me strength to put up with it and lead me in the right direction. I realized that my boyfriend was getting in the way of the relationship between God and I. We later ended up breaking up..that was the right path to take and God led me to it. You must Trust him..

In my opinion right is when you do something positive for your society. And do not let emotions intefere with your judgment instead you should be rational and think about your actions if they are benefitial for the people around you basically for me god want us to thrive as a society or (humanity, but that is not going to occur since i van hardly picture an earth devoid of conflicts...)

You don't. Without knowing your situation further this is hard to answer.
Have faith in GOD, but more importantly have faith in yourself. You are a child of God, so in the end you will do what you are meant to do.
I hope this helps.
God Bless you, and Merry CHRISTmas.

Instead of reaching the obvious conclusion that there is no god, people prefer to try to believe that god plays this sort of guessing game with everyone.

If god existed and cared about what your or I do, he would just come down and tell us straight out.

You know that little voice in your head that tells you right from wrong. If you listen hard enough, you'll hear God. Go to a quiet sanctuary that means a lot to you.

God gave you a conscience for this very reason. Make the choice that you can live at peace with.
