The Catholic church is God's one true church. Started by the apostle Peter the first Pope. Protestants, as the name implies, are those whose churches are in protest of the status of the Catholic church as the one true church. There are three different types of Catholics, Roman who follow the Pope in Rome, Eastern Orthodox and Coptic, which is an Egyptian form of catholicism. As for protestants, there are almost as many forms as there are churches. There are Lutherans, who closely follow Martin Luther's 95 theses, Anglicans, who follow a church made up by King Henry the VIII after the Pope would not allow him to have a divorce from his first wife, and many many other forms, calvinists, quakers, baptists, pentecostals, southern baptist, seventh day adventists, etc...

How does removing "Under God" and "In God We Trust" from the Pledge of Allegiance and our currency, respectively, limit a believers ability to practice their religion as they see fit?

If removing them doesn't violate a believers 1st Amendment right to freely exercise their religious beliefs...why are they still on there????

Another question. If removed from the pledge and our currency, would that anger your god, and make him want to hurt this nation?

I've never really understood how those who support keeping both slogans on our currency and in our pledge justify their position... when they realize that removing them doesn't violate their Constitutional rights.

My parents never took me to church as a child. Now that I am older I have married a man whose family is very religious. I feel that it is a sign that I need religion in my life. The problem is that I will in the future own a liquor store. Which religions will be acceptable of me? And I am yet to be saved (as I said I was never taken to church even as a baby) so how can this be handled?? I have been going to church but I feel like I am constantly being put down like one of the sinners the preacher is talking about because of this. I don't want to feel that way anymore. I need information..please help.
