Yes. I won't need it, and other people could benefit from the research.

No.

I have been to many cadaver labs up on campus teaching anatomy, and the disrespect that people show the corpses is unreal. Would you like some blonde college bimbo to poke your private parts with metal instraments and giggle at your dead body? Some people say "Why not? I will be dead anyway." Not me. My remains should not be violated in that manner.

If it were for gene research or something, I would be happy to.

I guess the real question is if you can control where your body ends up... If so then yes I would.

I have it already done! It is easy! Just get on line, ask about donating your body to science! they will give you a site, and fill out the paper work, and they will send it to you in the mail! Just take it from there!
You can, and will feel really good about, plus, you won't have to worry about final expenses, nor will your family!

good luck1

I plan to donate my remains to science. I figure I will not need my body anymore, maybe someone can learn something from me. I have told my wife and my mother of my wishes, I am still not sure they realize I am 100% serious.

Everyone serves a purpose, if only to be a bad example.

i like the belief of scientific pupils and such snickering over my lifeless bare physique as plenty through fact the subsequent guy, yet I additionally choose my family members to have a place to bop on while i'm lifeless. Do you assume that they could shrink off a physique area, like a foot or hand something no longer used plenty for scientifical purposes? they could in basic terms stick it in a shoe field and bury it. this is substantial that my family members has a place to rejoice while i'm long previous.

Hmm, probably not. See, I want to donate my organs. If I have no organs, they won't want my body for science/research.

I've talked to my mom about it, she went through med school. They have no use for organless corpses.

However, if they did find a use for organless corpses, I'd gladly hand it over. My organs are in good shape, and I'm not diseased, so they'd save lives directly.

Yes. When I die, I want my body to be donated to a medical school if my organs can be used for no other purpose.

Yes, because it could help advance science in general and help other people. Perhaps they could learn something significant that will benefit someone who is still alive. If I don't donate to science, my body is going to rot anyways and decompose back to carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, etc anyways.

Yes, but first and foremost I would like to donate my organs to someone who needs a transplant.

Would be more inclined to donate it for transplanting...but something that people don't maybe realize (I didn't) is that my understanding is that your family will still get the body (what's left) back for burial/cremation.

Being used as a formaldehyde pig would be gross but I'd donate all my good stuff for transplant! Moose rack included!
