Sin in my presence all you want, it's kind of a turn on for me--seems to mee God is kinda sissified and squeamish if he can't tolerate the presence of sin--think about it, LYING is a sin--eating shellfish is a sin, wearing clothing of mixed fibers--if you can't handle seeing ANY sins, you're kind of, umm, gee, what's the word? PATHETIC!

...with them?
We are never alone....and that's the truth.
Remember you have a spirit now trapped in your body, and when your body dies your spirit is free and not dead. Your spirit is basically the same, just without the body. So your free spirit now, your spirit communicated before, who says your spirit cannot communicate after the body has died.
So why would a person be consider nuts, laughed at and looked down at if they have the ability to see, touch, hear, sense, communicate to spirits. Usually it's them spirits that come to communicate because they are concern for you, or they felt your concerns. Usually loved ones, spirit guides, and angels.
I am talking good spirits here, not bad.....yes there is bad ones too, but they are not all bad like some seem to think. Due to lack of experience and understanding of the power of God's unlimited spiritual world....yes God is in control of it all.

I realize that sounds like a weak question and maybe it is, but I am wondering if anyone else out there has done this? I respect my family's belief and sometimes (not often) will go along to church at their request. I sincerely believe that most church goers are good people and it is nice to be around people who I know are morally sound; however, I spend the time either daydreaming or thinking of how silly it seems to have people conduct themselves in these repetitive human made rituals thinking that they are speaking directly with God.

Anyone else feel this way?

After all, chances are that it'll be used to facilitate the patient spilling his seed into a woman who is no longer capable of becoming pregnant, or a prostitute. Have any Christian pharmacists that you know of refused to fill Viagra prescriptions?

Galations 1:8 says But even if we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you a gospel contrary to what we have preached to you, he is to be accursed!
How does this fit in with your doctrines or do you refuse to read it?

How can Muslims claim there are no textual variations in the Koran, when the Tashkent MSS differs from the modern Egyptian Qur’an in 5 passages: 2:284, 2:283, 3:37, 3:109 and 5:119. The Tashkent MSS uses the word 'Allah' while the modern Egyptian Qur'an, uses the word 'huwa' (the pronoun 'he'). My question is: Which word do you believe are in the "preserved master tablet" and "mother of all books" in heaven?

My Grandfather fell from a chair whilst changing a light-bulb in his kitchen, he bashed his head on the stove and died, my Father fell from a chair in his bedroom changing a light-bulb and died. I now find I feel a little uneasy when I'm changing a light-bulb, I always think about what happened to them...

Why is there so many different churchs in the Chrisitian faith when there is only the Jewish and Christian faith mention in the Bible. Why are we saved but we are not speaking louder about the happenings in this world. Why? I often think of the story of Jesus and the rich man's question to him. We should answer that question as individuals, I am.

I've seen creationists say macroevolution is false because one "kind" cannot evolve into another "kind." However, it's hard to know exactly what this means because I don't know exactly what they mean by "kind."

I was wondering what exactly the definition of kind is.

What I'm looking for is an operational definition. I want a definition precise enough so that I can take two organisms and apply the definition to determine whether or not they're the same kind.

For example, the definition of species is "capable of producing fertile offspring." I can use that definition to determine if any two organisms are the same species (I simply breed them and test if the offspring are fertile.)

So what is the operational definition of "kind"?

People from all religions say that god loves his children and is pretty much the almighty power of the earth. But if god truly loved his children, why would there be all these expectations and rules in religion? Why wouldn't god just expect people to live there life without religion? Homosexuality is a sin, but if god truly loved all his children, why would homosexuality be a sin? You can't love someone if you don't accept ALL there qualities. Also, in Islam for example, Muslims pray 5 times a day. But if Allah/God is as powerful as he is said to be, what would praying to him do? It would be like a rich person expecting poor people to bow down to the rich guy; won't make much of a difference on the rich guy if the poor guy bows down.
So if god loves ALL his children, why is homosexuality, for example, looked upon so badly in religion?
If god truly is the most powerful being, why are humans expected to follow all these rules in a religion (Not eating something, bowing, etc.)

Muslim's will quote Yusuf Ali’s comment in footnote 663, as proof that the three early Christian sects of Marcion, Docetism, Basilides, denied the crucifixion of Christ. Given the fact the three sects are condemned as false teachers, deceivers and the anti-Christ in six Bible passages (1 John 1:1,14; 2:22; 4:1-3; 5:6; 2 John 7) My question is: on what basis do you claim they are Christian sects and isn't it as much of a misrepresentation for you to quote these Gnostic sects as Christians who deny the crucifixion, as it would be a misrepresentation for Christians to quote the Baha'i faith as proof Muhammad was not the final Prophet?

For as with God, people only know that for some inexplicable reason, mass generates an invisible force that pulls objects toward it. The force itself cannot be seen, only felt. We simply accept the belief that it is, versus knowing what it is and why it works in the manner that it does. We also know that without it, we could not exist.
