The theme of the Bible is the vindication of God's sovereignty (his right to rule) by means of his heavenly kingdom. This was also the focal point of Jesus' preaching:

“I must declare the good news of the kingdom of God, because for this I was sent forth.” (Luke 4:43)

He admonished true Christians to put the kingdom first in their lives: "Keep on then seeking first the kingdom and his righteous and all these other things will be added to you." (Matthew 6:33)

He also taught his followers to pray for that kingdom: "Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." (Matt 6:9, 19 KJV)

The Bible makes clear that the Kingdom will bring to completion Jehovah’s purpose that the earth be a paradise filled with people who love and worship the only true God and who love one another.

Here are some of the benefits that will come to mankind:

“He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.”—Revelation 21:4

“The lame one will climb up just as a stag does.”—Isaiah 35:6

“The eyes of the blind ones will be opened.”—Isaiah 35:5

“All those in the memorial tombs will . . . come out.”—John 5:28, 29

“No resident will say: ‘I am sick.’”—Isaiah 33:24

“There will come to be plenty of grain on the earth.”—Psalm 72:16

The overall theme of the Bible is the vindication of Jehovah’s sovereignty by means of his heavenly Kingdom with Jesus Christ as king. We can benefit by exercising faith in the ransom sacrifice of Jesus thus putting ourselves on Jehovah's side of the issue of universal sovereignty that was first raised in the Garden of Eden. (Genesis 3:1-5, Job 1:6-12; 2:1-7, Proverbs 27:11) We will then be in line to receive the inestimable blessings of the new heavens and new earth spoken of at 2 Peter 3:13. God's kingdom will restore order to the universe. The earth will become the paradise of pleasure that is was meant to be from the beginning, cleansed of all wicked influences and filled with the knowledge of Jehovah. (Isaiah 11:1-9)

A theme of Love runs throughout the Bible in spite of Satan's attack and questioning Jehovah's Sovereignty and right to rule .And thus the issue facing angels are being clearly proven down through the years that man and angels would accept Jehovah's right to rule under his righteous government set up by himself that would cover Heaven and earth. All can benefit as all with the right heart condition are welcomed to partake of life giving knowledge at his table and thus enjoy life under his blessing now and in his future earthly Paradise without the presence of questioning wicked angels.

I believe the christian bible is not about salvation through Jesus but rather, the bible is a collection of stories showing, without a doubt, that total mandated legislated prohibition of ANYTHING, even under penalty of death, does not work--even if the punishment is handed out by god himself!

No amount of law in our society will change human behaviour. The only way to live with each other in peace, is to accept one another as fellow human beings and get on with our own lives, minding our own business. Peaceful consentual activity between two people should not be illegal, so long as it does not involve physical coercion such as rape, murder, robbery, etc.

The theme seems to be, I am the all powerful god, I can do what I want, You on the other hand are sin-full good for nothing humans who would be and have nothing if not for me. For this you must do as I say (not as I do) and IF you're lucky you can spend eternity with me. If not you go to hell and burn forever. don't forget I love you and I killed my only son (who was really me) to prove it. Sorry, I really don't see much of a benefit in this.

The theme is to have a better life in eternity. The benefits are living a cleaner, safer, morally right, happier, better life style on earth. Through love, compassion, mercy, forgiveness, respect, for God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and your fellow man.

The underlying theme is love and the benefit is the door is now found and open for and to us, even while we still sleep in our earthly dream of life as both good and evil.

The Plan of Redemption. The main theme is that God has sent His son Jesus Christ to pay the penalty for our sins on the cross outside Jerusalem over 2000 yrs. ago. Jesus spiritually cleanses our souls from sin if we believe in Him alone for eternal life (John 3:16). You can find out more at our church website at www.growingdeeper.org.

The theme is God's restoration for His fallen creation. We benefit by having restored fellowship with our God as it was intended to be.

Please everyone you can, have blind faith, and try to make everyone else do the same. You still die, and there still is not any proof that living your life to the fullest, or being conservative has anything to do with your afterlife, if any exist. usually "karma" does help out, if your good to others, they pick up on it, and usually more times than not, they treat you with the same kindness, but sometimes you get screwed. So, its on how much faith you put into the bible
