Don't Atheists have the right to believe in what they want and voice their opinions. They are just like any other person right?

I believe that this gay marraige law if/when it passes will actually turn out for the good. The bible says ("what satan means for evil, God turns out for good') When/if these people who are gay repent and come to Jesus don't you think the church will gladly allow divorces? Maybe then they will realize not all male/female Marraiges were put together by God but by man? Huge revelation and truth will come as a result of all this supposed darkness. We have nothing to fear! What do you think? amen or oh me?

Just curious, did you EVER believe in God or did you grow up in a religious home? If so, which faith were you raised?

(I know this is probably another *DRINK* question, thank you for your patience, lol!)

.....rather than other religious groups. The Christians think they are being targeted unfairly, but are there other reasons?

Is it because this an English speaking site and they are in the majority?

Is it because they are the only group who are hostile to atheists?

Is it because of Christian attitudes?

Is it because we just don't like them (even though we don't know them)?

Please tell me why.

Ok we all know that putting a tree in the garden was ment to be a test for gods new creation adam and eve. So let's all imagine for a second that they decided to ignore the snake and not eat from the tree....then what? Would god have done something else to test them? Or would he have been happy and content just hanging out with Adam and Eve for all eternity? Do you think that if Eve ignored the devil the devil would continue to mess with them? What would he have done next?

Surely there's no harm in seeing something from another person's perspective.
Before you point out how many christians are here, think about how few of them actually respect other people's religions and beliefs for what they are rather than attack them for being evil. Sorry to those who are not like that I know I am generalising.

All I hear these days is, "I'm proud to be ," especially from purported Christians. Last I checked, pride was sinful and yet everyone is bragging about how much pride they have. What's up with that?

this politician in germany wants to set an expiration date on marriage.

her reasoning is that it will prevent people from staying in "loveless" marriages and encoraging people to stay together because they want to not because they feel it is "safe".

I've heard my church use the term "woman in waiting" as a term for a "kept" Christian woman who is prepared for marriage and waiting to be found. If this is the true definition, than I am indeed a "woman in waiting" or a "lady in waiting".

My concern is if this term is used somewhere else? Someone told me that a "woman in waiting" deals with a brothel or a prostitue. Is this true?

I'll be very careful how I use the term until I find out.

Any clue anyone?
