Funny, Uncle Thesis.... for some reason I assumed you were a Jehovah's Witness.....hmmmm
Anyway.... every religion has it's imperfection, including Jehovah's Witnesses. But coming from someone who came from a religiously divided home (that's me), Jehovah's Witnesses is the only Christian Religion that has concrete evidence for what they teach, hey and they can prove it to you too.

It's not what JW's say, it's the Bible which is the Word of Jehovah God. He is the Sovereign of the Universe so He has the right to guide us as to how we should live our lives. Jehovah's Witnesses are just that, the witnesses of God. We are commanded by Jesus Christ to go and make disciples of people of all nations. Man can not even take a step without asking our Father in the Heavens what direction to place our foot.

A woman in Bulgaria joined her grandson in studying the Bible with the Witnesses. She was fascinated to learn that God’s name is Jehovah. Since her Bible did not contain God’s name, she decided to go to a bookstore to buy one that did. The storekeeper asked her what she was looking for. When she told him, he began shouting at her: “You belong to that sect!” Just then, a priest walked into the store. When he was asked, “What is God’s name?” he replied: “Jehovah, of course. Now stop shouting at this woman.” The storekeeper was astounded. The woman and three members of her family are making fine spiritual progress.
One of those who responded well to the Kingdom message was a student priest who could not speak a word of English. His first discussion with one of our missionaries was through an interpreter. When controversial points arose, the student priest would check his Bible in the ancient language of Geez. It shocked him to learn that his favorite support for the Trinity at 1Â John 5:7 was not in his Bible. Other wrong doctrines were quickly exposed with this Bible.
GUADELOUPE: The brothers in Guadeloupe have indeed felt as if new ones were coming into the organization like a large flock of doves in flight. (Isa. 60:8) The 3,500 publishers were thrilled to see over 500 more added to their ranks during the year.
One Sunday a lady approached the Catholic priest after Mass and told him that her son had asked: “Why, if Jesus Christ died for us, do we still see men who continue to sin and who continue to die?” She asked for help. The priest offered no explanation but instead said: “I suggest that you go out of the church, cross the street, and stay there a little while. Soon you will see Jehovah’s Witnesses coming along. Then approach them and stop one, but not an adult, no, but go to the youngest child among them and ask him to answer your question. To be sure, he will gladly tell you exactly what to answer to your son.” The woman was stunned.
Are just a few experiences of people learning the truth.

Wow! It's amazing the stories that are told about Jehovah Witnesses......
@Jesussaves....yours is the first I've EVER heard of JW's believing that Quakers live on the moon......where did that come from? Have you nothing better to do with yourself than believe lies from other haters? May I suggest, that the next time you encounter a JW, that you ask them about the Quakers on the Moon story. * shakes head in dismay*

Because they will give you answers to your questions using the bible:
What is the purpose of life?
Why is there so much wickedness in the world if God cares?
Why do many religions get involved with war and politics?
What does the bible REALLY teach? (Is Hell reall etc)
Etc...
There are many JW haters around the world, but why not see for yourself....get to know them and their teachings. There is biblical reasons why they have their beliefs; it is all based on the bible.

Good question.
I just don't know that you should... listen.
I've known Jehovah's Witnesses who have talked about the way their church deal with the sins of their church members. I don't know if it's biblical. Christian Research Institute may be able to explain why you "shouldn't" listen to them.
Keep the faith, Uncle Thesis.

Same reason you should listen to anyone; you might learn something, and/or reaffirm your beliefs based on what you hear.

You should listen to what everybody has to say, then form your own beliefs from what resonates with you.

you shouldn't. They believe there are Quakers living on the moon. The have set the date several times for Jesus to come back and found wrong. Their prophet made many false statements. Jesus didn't die on the cross according to them. How many things do they have to get wrong to be a cult?
