Jesus Lied

Jesus Lied About Prayer

Jesus is quoted many times in the Bible saying that a believer can ask for anything through prayer and receive it. He even goes so far as to say that mountains and trees can be thrown into the sea simply by praying for it. This is clearly a lie, and can be proven to be a lie by any believer. Simply pray for me to be converted to Christianity right away. Or better yet ask God to move the mountains behind my house. He could make a lot of converts that way. If I’m converted today, I’ll post a public apology on my web site and devote my life to kissing God’s ***. If I’m not converted it would only be fair for you to apologize and devote your life to kissing my butt.

Here are the quotes from Jesus that proves that he lied:

1) And Jesus answered and said to them, "Truly I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mou

2) Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives; and the one who seeks, finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. (Matthew 7:7-8 NAB)

You seem to enjoy trying to 'prove' Jesus was a liar.
It is obvious you have not read the context of these scriptures, nor have you taken time to learn of Jesus' personality.
PLUS, you quote a scripture that starts: "IF you had faith......"
If those things don't happen, why can't it be because the christian is lacking, not Jesus?
BTW the mountains were illustrative.
He was known for speaking in illustrations.
"Mountain of a problem" ....ever hear of it?
He was saying our problems would be dealt with successfully.
What would be the point of throwing literal mountains into the sea?
Jesus doesn't do parlor tricks.

Obviously, you have to be a believer to have your prayers answered. Several other issues and teachings are obeyed by Christians in regard to prayer.

I can personally vouch for that the symbolic mountain Jesus spoke about has been moved several times by God for me.

You wouldn't believe me if I told you anyway. Frankly, God doesn't go around answering such 'mountain moving' prayers to provide anyone with a display of a miracle.

These things are done for the sake of need, and no true Christian would ask God for such unless in need. But truly 'my mountains' have been moved many times.

just because God is able to give you anything and everything you praya for does not mean you are going to get it. God will give you what He KNOWS is best for you in the context of your prayers. So alot of times His answer will be NO.

Read the entire Bible. Jesus wrote the whole thing. It says that if you ask according to His will, then you get all you ask for. But you already knew that. Enjoy your moment of trolling.

Most of people do not understand the holy scripture. So they say bible is false.
Or because they try to understand it their way without any research.
