I was just wondering if anyone has ever seen a miracle or been the recipient of one? We all hear that miracles are possible but please tell me your story if you have one.

I've heard that the jewish faith is normally passed from mother to son regardless of whether the father is jewish or not. And, as surnames are (usually) passed from father to child, how come traditional jewish surnames are still common (such as Cohen or names ending in ...Stein) Especially since jews are a small minority in practically all countries (save Israel of course). Am I missing something? Do jews usually marry into their own faith?

Because according to the story of the Tower of Babel, everyone was given a different language so that they couldn't communicate as punishment for trying to reach heaven.

So, would trying to learn another language be a sin?

I have been a child of God since I was 11 years old. I have backsliden many times into the depths. I have been raised from those depths as well with Gods help for sure. But the Christian diatribe I here now days really embarases me to no endI do not believe that everything in the Bible is true. Only the Red Words. So don't tell me that if I don't do it to your interpitation I'm gonna burn. Cause thats just an easy cop-out.

be against any and all referances to God in our society. To simplify this I guess I am asking if there are many or a few who would be against the Ten Commandments in a public place.

I just really know so little about Agnostics or Atheists except what I hear on the radio and t.v. and that is usually the extreme.

CJ- "They must believe that Jesus, who is God, died for their sins on the cross and rose again. Same with every person on earth"

Catholics believe this - it is doctrine - yet some say Catholics are not saved.
How can this be!?

Any other thoughts about what is necessary for Salvation?

The Book of Revelation is a book of "reveal"ing. It reveals that Jesus was the son of Julius Caesar and a woman Rev. 17 calls a whore. That whore was Cleopatra vii.
Revelation reveals that the true Lamb of god Slain at the founding of the World was Abel. And that Abel is the Messiah.
Until you address the issue of your inherited guilt in Abels murder as a decendant of Cain you will "inherit the earth". as in covered with 6 ft. of dirt.
Jump up in a bi-polar fit and cuss me out. You will still die.
There is only one way to avoid death and apparently I am the only one who knows it. The information is free with only one obligation. Forsake all false gods and honor the memory of Abel only. If Abel was your son you would expect the same.

so I ask you: what disturbs you about the Bible. If you could get a straight answer from God about one conflicting item in the Bible, what would it be. Feel free to list more than one if they come to mind and you're not too busy.

Why do atheists in America like to mock at christians and forget to be polite?I get such answers as" you are stupid ", "you are an idiot" and so on..Do they think that after these words I won`t trust in God?. I`m a Russian woman, living in Russia, and our country paid too much -millions of christians were killed by atheists during communism time, but this terrible time has learned us to be tolerant to each other and I can`t understand why atheists in America can`t be tolerant either?

well im sorry, but if your telling me that i am going to burn and suffer for eternity.
i think i also have the right to tell them that i believe religion is false without being branded racist/bigoted/etc.
dont you agree?

Please Tell me how the following quote is not manipulative and Fear mongering

"Many, both young and old, extol the importance of an academic education. Some experts even say that they “fully believe that you will never be able to find a [decent] job without a college degree.” Yet, there are a number of human needs that go beyond material achievements. For instance, does higher learning help you to be a good parent, mate, or friend? For that matter, people admired for their intellectual achievements may develop undesirable personality traits, fail in their family life, or even end up committing suicide."

How in Gods name is this helping the reader ???!!!??

FYI

Fear mongering : is the use of fear to leverage the opinions and actions of others towards some end. The object of fear is exaggerated; those the fear is directed toward are kept aware of it on a constant basis.
