I have been a child of God since I was 11 years old. I have backsliden many times into the depths. I have been raised from those depths as well with Gods help for sure. But the Christian diatribe I here now days really embarases me to no endI do not believe that everything in the Bible is true. Only the Red Words. So don't tell me that if I don't do it to your interpitation I'm gonna burn. Cause thats just an easy cop-out.

Ok, so your a Christian and that tells me that you believe the Bible IS the word of God. Not just the red words but all of it. Everyone backsides, it is what we do after our weakness determines if we still are following "The Way". A sincere and contrite heart and a change of the path one is traveling indicates true change and active seeking of God.

This is not the perspective of the Catholic Church. All are a part of the economy of salvation, to include the non-Christian. Please don't group us all together as being bigots. I personally have Jewish, Muslim, Wiccan, Buddhist, Hindu, Sikh, agnostic, atheist, and even gay friends. The Church teaches inclusiveness and not exclusiveness. God loves them one and all.

Take your own way brother. I'm a Catholic but I don't think that matters at all in the end. Your actions determine who you are, not whether you wake up on Sunday at 8AM.

Because Jesus said so.

------------------------------
Jesus replied, "If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. He who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me.
