Christianity is monotheistic. The trinity is NOT.

At John 17:3, Jesus said that his Father is the ONLY true God. But the trinity teaching elevates the Son and the holy spirit to the same level as the Father, and calls all of them gods (God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit). Isn't that three gods?

There is NOT ONE verse in the Bible that says God is triune and that all members of the trinity are co-equal, co-eternal, and almighty.

The trinity is a falsehood that has fooled people for hundreds of years.

We all know that Christianity came from Judaism. The Jews already created an almighty god, and therefore rendered all other gods unnecessary. The Christians had to insert Jesus as the son of God, and thus created the doctrine of Trinity, which is convoluted at best. It God is omnipotent, he does not need any helpers. It seems God is so unapproachable that humans need to talk to the son instead of talking directly to him. Also by declaring humans having original sin, Jesus is needed as a sacrifice victim to die for humans' sin.

Father and son are two different persons, otherwise Jesus is his own father. Christianity is clearly not a monotheistic religion.

Islam declares that humans are born without sin, and therefore the son does not have to die for the sin of humans. So the son is not needed. Allah alone is God himself.

In polytheistic cultures you had different gods. There might be a particular god for a particular purpose. Or one god might be more powerful than the others, or more loving, or more kind, or more war-like, and so forth. Each god had unique and different personality and attributes.

Christianity is monotheistic because there is only one God. God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost are equal in perfection, character, and attributes. One of them would never have a different agenda or even opinion than the others. They would be one in purpose, intent, and attributes. You can't go to one expecting favors or blessings that another one would refuse to give. They always act as one because they are perfectly united. Whatever qualities and characteristics that you can think of belonging to one also belong to the others. There is absolutely no divisions among them, unlike in polytheism.

God is one; God is not divided. Yet it is no contradiction to say that more than one person can be united in that one God.

Well if to you God is one, then there is no trinity. So, why would you care what we think? It's just a different belief structure. I'm a non-practicing Catholic. I'm not really sure if I could ever say one religion is right. But it's monotheistic to me. If I'm polytheistic according to you, I really don't care.

The trinity, in my opinion is a cop out of Christians dealing with the God's many mood swings. It is in fact very polytheistic in nature, claiming that God is three parts, but really these parts are so different characteristically.

The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are three parts of the One God. It's just like if you have an apple and slice it into three parts. You still have only one apple, but you have three pieces.
Or think of a father, a mother, and a child. There are three people, but there is one family.

belet...., your a moron it quite is singular. Christianity in no way invented the devil He replaced into there interior the previous testomony. particular God did create the devil, he replaced into an perspective no longer something extra beneficial than that. he nevertheless isn't something extra beneficial than an angel, yet a fallen angel. he's no longer a god, he had to be through fact of this he fell. i think of muhammad tried to develop up a fictitious moon god and hake him a god with a capital G. so your faith isn't even monotheistic faith its a sham, do no longer you sense ashamed, of believing in a fictitious moon-god with a decrease case g.

do you mean to say that Jesus(the Son) of God and the Holy spirit which maps my way don't exist? Does it not say in the Bible that there is but one way to the Father (through Jesus Christ) and that he must leave so that the Holy Spirit could come........ I totally believe in the Trinity. Because of Jesus I can have a relationship with God, and the Holy Spirit is just as real!!!! Thank You God, for your son who died to set me free, and your Holy Spirit to lead the way

God is one. By the bible even saying, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, it is saying that they are distinctly separate beings.
