Do you believe that Criss Angel is evil?

Do you think he sold his soul to be able to preform the things he does?

Do you believe that his "magic" can be explained?

What do you think of his trademark emblem that he wears?
(the letter 'A' with a circle around it)

Does the act of making someone believe your evil really make you evil, or is it just good showmanship?

For all things are for your sakes, that grace, having spread through the many, may cause thanksgiving to abound to the glory of God.
Therefore we do not lose heart;even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.

For those of you who don't know, the Australian aboriginal community is in the grip of a crisis of extreme proportions.

A recent report has highlighted the fact that child rape in aboriginal communities is endemic, and has been for decades, affecting every single aboriginal community in the country.

The government has now declared martial law in many of the communities.

For those who would like a background, I attach this article:
http://www.smh.com.au/news/opinion/a-cynical-scratch-a-pustular-response/2007/06/29/1182624168798.html

Since Europeans first arrived in Australia, it's been bad news for aboriginals.

30% of them died from common cold within 20 years.

"The stolen generations" saw missionaries forcibly removing children from their mothers right up into the seventies.

The infant mortality rate is 5 times higher than for whites.

Alchohol and petrol sniffing are massive issues, which are linked to the sexual abuse problems.

Why has this been ignored?

Consider this,

If there is no good, how can one say something is bad?
It's like when there is no such thing as hot, how does one know if something is cold?

My question was,
Are God and Evil actually one entity?
If there is no such thing as evil, is there such a thing as good?

I appreciate your thoughts and answers!

I was 12 (I'm 16 now) and I was in a science lesson. I can't remember how the subject came about but one boy in my class said 'but sir, what about Adam and Eve?' he said it jokingly and he's not Christian. Anyway, my teacher goes 'Christianity is false, if it wasn't, that means we'd all have to be related to each other. Christians believe the Earth was made 4000 years ago which is completely ridiculous.' The class just laughed then. I felt quite embarassed, like he was mocking my religion but I never complained against him and neither did anyone else (I think I was probs the only Christian in the class.)
I'm still not going to complain, I don't care about it anymore but I just wonder whether he is actually allowed to make a comment like that? Sure he's entitled to his opinion on religion but I don't think he should be allowed to make a comment like that. Anyone know?

If we were originally Intelligently Designed to hate sin, how could Adam and Eve have chosen to sin?

If the all-knowing and all-wise Intelligent Designer has good reason to hate sin as much as Christians claim, why would He not design His creations with a hatred of sin as well?

If you could design your child to never stick a fork in a light socket or eat poison, you would, wouldn't you? You wouldn't be worried about infringing on the child's "free will" to protect his/her life, would you?

And if He did design us to hate sin, how could Adam and Eve choose to disobey God when they are designed to hate sin and know that disobeying God is a sin?

Or are we to believe that an Intelligent Designer who is all-knowing and all-wise and who has good reason to hate sin chose to design us with an addiction to sin?

As if we would design a child to eat poison ...

Please explain why God would design us to have an addiction to sin?

I regularly peruse the YouTube videos, and I have seen at least 50 Muslim clerics and innumerable Muslims condemn the West (namely, we women) for our "immodest" dress and you label our dresses and skirts and shorts, "nakedness". Well, ok. That's fine that that's your opinion.

I am just curious, since we actually must wear some clothing here in Kaffirland, due to law...what do you think of aboriginal societies and peoples whom are naked? Like the Native Australians and the tribes of the Amazon river basin, for example?

They don't seem to have many issues with rape there, and everyone is pretty much nakey. So, are they all whores too? I think the dudes who wear that cool weenie sheath in New Ginuea are cool. That is pretty neat.

As an agnostic I'm open to the idea that 14 billion years ago some consciousness put into motion the universe that we now occupy. That doesn't mean that there is an afterlife though.

Or is that something that most religions can't fathom?

"One of either the circumference or diameter is not rational. If you have a piece of string exactly 1 inch long and you make it into a perfect circle, the diameter of that circle will be an irrational value. You could try to measure it, but no matter how accurately you did measure it,it would still not be quite accurate enough. So you can never know exactly what the diameter is just by measuring. And if you took that string and made a diameter with it,the circumference would be irrational and you would never be able to measure the circumference accurately enough.Whatever you measured would be close but not exact. It's the same problem with a right angled triangle with short sides exactly 1 inch long:The long side is an irrational number. You can't find out what it is by measuring. You can get close, but it's still not exact. The only way to calculate the exact length of these things is with algebra."
