Officially it's a theory. A theory is a working model which fits all known facts. In this way it is a means of linking a collection of proven facts in such a way that it explains them all.

I believe it is Falsehood. I believe in Creation, as there is proof of it, and no proof of Evolution. One of the reasons I believe this, is because: I was talking to this Kid at my school who is a huge evolutionist. He said they had found bones of "creatures" on Mars (he believed to be aliens) And he said they were buried thousands of miles into it. Ok...so who dug those thousands of miles to find these 'bones'? I bet he found that info on Google. He said he didn't believe in God, because he couldn't believe in something that was just always there, and had no beginning. So I asked him: Ok so how did your bacteria get there? He said it was made from molecules, how did those molecules get there? Etc. Etc. There would have to be something that was always there. It just doesn't make sense to me. The whole evolution thing. And, like I said it has never been proven factual. Scientists that have studied this, even though some are not christians, have to believe in Creation, there's just too much evidence to support it. That's like saying I would jump off a building because there might be something to catch me on the bottom when I fall. But I'm not that dumb and I KNOW that I will splatter into a million pieces. Just a thought.

It is a theory, stated as a theory, not passed out as fact. It is the only theory, so far, that takes into account many, many things. It is not completely satisfactory, but then, we lack much data of the past. To deny the theory, or accept it as fact is equally foolish. No scientific person considers it fact. And no scientific person considers creationism as anything but a fairytale.

I struggle with this daily. I believe in God and all that He stands for. I believe that I have my Eternal life through the blood of Christ but......I was taught all my life about evolution even though when I was a kid I was not that interested it did however stay with me. How do you disprove science. I know that figures can be manipulated but finds from digs can not. I find myself asking alot of times about the possibility of it being a bit of both. I think yes God created everything and there fore maybe He just did not have anyone for documentation when He was tweaking the way life would be. I know this is a pretty childish way to look at it but it helps to get me to the God created everything theory and thus I am left with less questions.

It is a theory and a fact at the same time. Yes, that happens in science. Take gravity for example. There is NO "law" of gravity (no, look it up, Newton wrote those "laws" himself and they are not widely accepted) only theories. Yet no one argues that gravity exists.
Same thing goes for Evolution.

Like the existence of atoms, evolution is technically a theory, but is such a thoroughly supported theory that for all practical purposes it is a fact.

I used to consider it a fact, but now I consider it to be a very well supported and almost certain theory. There are just a few things in it that still need to be worked out in my opinion.

Evolution is a theory, which is therefore filled with facts. Scientific theories are models of our universe that are filled with facts seen from the mountains of evidence that supports them. A theory is the peak of the scientific mountain. Denial of it is denial of the truth all around you.
