Sense the logic of my questions was lost on the last question im going to reword some questions and leave out the points cause people just couldnt comprehend it.

Question one? Does Evolution have an ending?
Question two? If life could be created in such a process can we create life in the future ever?
Question three? If we did indeed create life, would our creations percieve us as gods?
Question four? If evolution evolves forever on a world with different rules then why couldnt they have powers which are unnatural to us?
Question five? If there had to be special conditions for life to develope which may prevent life forms on other planets from evolving the same then how probably 1-100 percent 100 being greatest is it that that new life form had its enviroment evolve too in a likewise manner?
Question six? If the galaxy is only so old. And we are only so old. And evolution takes a long process. How reasonable is it to think that we sprung to life within that given time?

If there were actually a god who was up in the sky watching over america and who had the ability to stop evil doers, then this should be easy. Something tells me that I shouldn't waste my time though.

One-third of the world is Christian, almost twice as many as Athiests.

In fact, there are about as many Catholics themselves as there are Athiests!!!

It's funny how little they know, yet they claim to be so smart...

Initiative 957

If passed by Washington voters, the Defense of Marriage Initiative would:

* add the phrase, “who are capable of having children with one another” to the legal definition of marriage;
* require that couples married in Washington file proof of procreation within three years of the date of marriage or have their marriage automatically annulled;
* require that couples married out of state file proof of procreation within three years of the date of marriage or have their marriage classed as “unrecognized;”
* establish a process for filing proof of procreation; and
* make it a criminal act for people in an unrecognized marriage to receive marriage benefits.

Romans 6:23 says "For the wages of sin is death". Does this mean animals sin as well? Or uni-cellular organisms? Or plants? Because they all die as well, not just humans. Why does an animal or plant die, if it doesn't know the moral difference between right and wrong?

I am a christian myself and I am very interested in learning about other religions. Keep in mind that I strive to not be a judgemental person and some of my VERY close friends believe some of these religions and I don't think any differently.

Does anyone else think that Moromonisim and Scientology are cults????

Ok, well since we are in R&S, I will say it is because I consider marriage to be a sacred and holy thing. I have been hearing the phrase "starter husband/wife" going around lately, and they are even getting ready to premier a show by that name, so it must be some kind of trend? I knew my first marriage was in trouble when I started thinking of my spouse as my "first" spouse. But if anyone had even thought of suggesting I should think of it as a "starter" marriage before it even started, I would have been appalled! I am not familiar with "Sex in the city", but have gotten the impression it originated there. Anyone is welcome to answer, but I would be especially interested to hear from single people under 30. What's up with that, young uns? Do you think that people are getting married too young, or for the wrong reasons? Are spouses disposable? Is there really any good reason for this to happen in this day and age, and what do you think contributes to it, is marriage dead?

Are really just angry people who need proof for everything?
Are they just too vain to admit that there is something higher than us?
Why must they do everything they can to prove that theists are wrong and wasting their time?
Why would they rather depend on science that cannot help them after death?

And please.. no b*tching.

"but what if you died proir to the coin flip, obviously changing the outcome?"the fact is that I DIDNT die. the past is proof that only one outcome will ever happen, is it not?.

.byam, i put this hear instead of philosophy because philosophy is a little dead.

I wanted to find the right God, so I just started praying four years ago for God to reveal himself to me, whoever he was. I wanted the real God - the creator of the universe - the God of love and truth!

Well, I get on my knees every night before bed and sincerely pray for God to show me himself (however he chooses to do it) I've done this for four years! After I pray, it is my habit to sit for twenty or thirty minutes and just listen.

I pray first thing in the morning also, while I'm getting ready for work. I got nothing at all, really, except for this deep peace that I was a human and that everything was going to be alright.

I felt an increasing connection to all life and to the world. But no specifics about who or what God is!? Just a feeling that God is all around me. I am not trying to pick a religion, only trying to find the true God.

People are always trying to give me proofs for their religions: Muslims – history, name of God is miraculously everywhere.

When my son was first diagnosed with cancer, we went to go go play minature golf with his cousins, my husband and some other people, friends etc. We were probably by the 8th or 9th hole. I sat down on a bench because I was very overwhelmed by what was going on. A lady sat down beside me. I just started to talk to her, spilling my gut. Telling her everything that was going on. I was having a hard time playing after hearing my son had a 50/50 chance of survival. After I got done talking to her, she told me everything was going to be ok. Then I was called cause it was my turn to play. So I said it was nice talking to her and thanked her for listening and walked away. And, she was by herself and appeared to be in her 50's.Everyone that was with me that day saw her when they went to look for me but none of us saw her again. We all thought she was just sitting with me to rest. She was a long way from the entry gate. Well, I believe she was an angel and Sean is 10 years cancer free today.

If you REALLY do think this, tell me why -- beyond a bible quote and ... what can we expect in hell? Will I be in a body? Just a "soul"? Will it hurt?

I don't believe -- but I used to. Now when I look back, I can't even imagine living under that horrible abusive oppresion called religion.
