Science: "systematic knowledge gained through observation and experimentation".
I'm NOT asking if the Bible is wrong. I'm NOT asking if "x" religion is wrong.
I want you to use observation and experimentation and then... answer this question.

Is it something to do with the personality of people who first went to America, perhaps?

Or is the diversion more recent? After all, most people in Britain went to church regularly just 100 years ago.

Or maybe there isn't a difference at all? Although only a small percentage of British people attend a religious service regularly, does anyone know how the percentage of American people who attend religious services compares to this?

(By the way, I'm really talking about Christianity here, primarily because it's the religion I have most knowledge of, although I'd be interested in how people of other religions think the attitude differs (or not) between Britain and America.)

If god is a spirit, and has no (woman) equal, then why the heck is he always referred to as He. Yes we all know that God made Adam in His image but from a, dare I say, scientific stand point is there honestly any need for God to have gender? It just doesn't make any sense to me.

Christians often act as though the biblical accounts of miracles are self-evident reasons to believe in the truth of Christianity and of the Bible itself. Think for a moment about how strange that is: incredible tales that wouldn't normally be accepted at face value in any other context are suddenly treated as meeting the highest possible standards of truth and reliability. What gives here?

A popular claim among religious theists is that atheists have no basis for morality - that religion and gods are needed for moral values. Usually they mean their religion and god, but sometimes they seem willing to accept any religion and any god. The truth is that neither religions nor gods are necessary for morality, ethics, or values. They can exist in a godless, secular context just fine, as demonstrated by all the godless atheists who lead moral lives every day.

I have read other answers here but did Jesus ever verbally say he was the Son of God Himself or did others say this about him? I am thinking that He said that He said He was the Son of Man.

Religion and gods play an important role in how many parents raise their children. Even parents who aren't very ardent in their faith and don't go to religious worship services very often seem to believe that religion is a vital component in any upbringing. This is not justified, however. A child can be raised without religion and without gods and not be any worse off for it, though. In fact, a godless upbringing has advantages because if avoids so many of the dangers that accompany religion.

Would you walk away or ask for them to stop? In other words, would it be correct to defend your (Christian) (practical) beliefs to show by example to your child you don't have to put up with that?
