You still do what you want right?? Well, that's free will though it's not according to Gods will.

Free will involves the ability to look to God for salvation, not the day-to-day decisions that we make. You also have to look at man as being sinful and totally undeserving of heaven in order to make any sense of it. If man is sinful, and he cannot choose God, then it really doesn't matter what decisions we make, does it? We are all headed to the same place save for God's intervention.
And intervene he does, through the work of the Holy Spirit and the sacrifice of his own son for our sins. Since it is God's intervention and not our own, what's really cool is that God has intervened from before the foundations of the world, through the concept of predestination. Foreknowledge goes right along with that, but knowing who is own sheep are is far different from your premise of foreknowledge meaning "knowing who will choose him" since we are now thinking the other way around as to who chooses who.
If you will crack open your Bible you'll find out that there is plenty of support for this kind of thinking, and it's called Calvinism. More information can be found at www.reformed.org, I hope you will get a chance to take a look at that site. It will show an entirely different viewpoint from what most people have presented in their responses to your question.

Because we don't know everything.
Also, free will is not the same as free choice. Free will is a very limited, albeit supremely important, decision. The free will decision is does one follow God's instructions to the best of his or her ability or does one reject God and goes their own way.
Once that decision is made, all other choices follow with relative ease and many are already determined by the first.
Note: putting ketchup or mustard on your hot dog (and the like) is not a free will decision but rather a personal preference. Deciding whether or not to kill that bastard who just cut you off, is.

If I were to place a bowl of cookies and a bag of candy in a room of 3 and 4 year olds, and left them alone for 15 minutes, with a stern command to not touch the treats.......I know what would happen with most of the kids...some however would undoubtedly obey.
I knew what would happen, and the children each had a choice.

God knows the paths that are before us and even though he knows our future we are still given the opportunity to choose differently. He doesn't make our choices for us we make our own. If he made them for us there would be no need for forgiveness, we would all be angels and not be going through all this. Satan made his choice to be here and do the things he does, so we are here and it is necessary for God to give us our own will and choices. The Bible can answer this better than I can.

We have the 'free will' to choose; but God knows the choice we will make presently.
May you receive today a large pleasant surprise there to God's glory!!!

Well it's the idea that God know each of us so well that he'll know what choices we'll make in life. We have free will, but if we were to rebel or do something unpredictable, God will know we would do that because he knows us.

Hello.. :)
An example would be: Your parents "know" that if you hang around with the wrong children they may be involved with stealing, killing or drugs..Your parents tell their child not to go out tonight with that crowd..
The child does not listen to their parents and end up getting arrested and possibly going to jail..
Who is to blame..the parent for warning and explaining the consequences to the child, or the child for not listening..
The child had their own free will..either they will heed the warning or they will not.. :(
In Jesus Most Precious Name..
With Love..In Christ.. :)

This Life is a Test for the Hereafter
The life in this world is a test for the Hereafter. The Qur’an says in Surah Al Mulk: "He who created Death and Life, that He may try which of you is best in deed; and He is the Exalted in Might, Oft-Forgiving".
[Al-Qur’an 67:2]
