I asked if 6:115 was correct when Allahsays his word can not be changed and Muslims say it can be changed he can change his mind. We know from the Bible the god of Abraham did not change his mind he is all knowing and his word endures forever...Is allah not the same God? Why did he say he was?

Apparently then, the Qur'an teaches that some verses that Allah has brought down have been abrogated - that is, they are no longer binding or applicable. Apparently, Allah changed his mind about some of the verses he gave through his prophet. In this Allah is different to the God of the Bible, "with whom there is no shadow of turning" (James 1:17), who is "the Lord, who changeth not" (Malachi 3:6), whose Word "endureth forever". The real God has infinite wisdom and cannot contradict Himself.

in the world there is. Jesus is not coming back for sleeping christians, he is coming back for those who are waiting for him, not ones who think Jesus will not come back for a very long time and live how they want. If that is the case you will get left. It is shocking of how many christians live like Jesus is not going to return for such a long time and if you think that you are so wrong, and there is so many christians drinking, pubing, smoking drugs, fornication, and those christians will get left for sure. I will tell you the message to this generation from Jesus, and this is not a lie, the words of Jesus in 1996 to this generation is "Unless My disobeident Children wake up, they will miss the trumpet, and will have to go through the tribulation, and many of them will become Satans" How many of you are living like he will come tomorrow? I am. Israel is now back in the land, and there is nothing now that has to be fullfied before the rapture. Some of you say o the temple is not

In 86:6-7 the Koran says, "man was created from ejected liquid- Proceeding from between the backbone and the ribs". This echoes the scientific error of Hippocrates who believed semen originates, from the brain down the spinal chord, before passing through the kidneys and finally out of the body.

Is this a scientifically accurate information?

Valentine’s Day sinful, says Aceh Islamist
Published: Wednesday, 14 February, 2007, 09:40 AM Doha Time
JAKARTA: Celebrating Valentine’s Day is sinful and forbidden for Muslims, an Indonesian Islamic leader warned yesterday.
“This celebration comes from another religion and has no legal basis in the Islamic Sharia law,” said Muslim Ibrahim, who is chairman of the highest authority on Islamic affairs in Aceh province.
“Therefore, taking part in celebrating the day of love is haram (forbidden) for Muslims,” Ibrahim told the state Antara news agency.
St Valentine’s Day is named after a Christian martyr and over the years has become the day on which lovers traditionally express their feelings for each other. Ibrahim said Valentine’s Day went against Islamic teachings and values and was used to overly express love to someone of the opposite sex.
“I hope that the young generation can be proud of our regional culture, which abounds with Islamic values, and can maintain their identity,” Ibrahim

I am confused as to why Christians in particular capitalize the word god. The Christian god according to Exodus 6:2 is named Yahweh. Shouldn't god work the same way as king, by itself it isn't capitalized but preceding a name like King James or the God Yahweh? Is there any reason why this breaks the capitalization of titles rule or is it just because someone wanted to make the word look more important?

I do. Get this Jordans King Abdullah the second and Russian president Putin on Tuesday called for a stronger international push for lasting middle east peace. Putin told reporters during a joint conference with Abdullah that support is growing for a Russian proposal for a wide scale middle east peace conferance. Jesus may end up coming this year, or not long after because the antichrist is going to come out unexpectantly and confirm the peace covernant in the middle east. Last year Jesus showed the antichrist to this women in a vision and told her he will soon be very popular. She saw a side to him which was going to decieve the world, smart, popular, and there was another side she saw that had worms coming out of him. He is alive Christians, and it is only a matter of time. This Christian man on this site told me about is vision from Jesus a few years ago. He is about 62 and Jesus did tell him that he will be alive when the rapture happens and he will not have to taste death. This man

This question was originated as I wished to see the views of anyone who is non Muslim. I do invite Muslims. I am trying to understand where people stand on this issue.

If you could please explain your reasons, if you are going to use the middle east as an example can you also use other areas of the world which display similar traits . I have yet to form a complete opinion on the matter. In the event of Islamification of America I would believe that eventually most of the Muslims would have come from Christian background (whether it be from great grand parents or not). I would think they would keep the same beliefs as far as freedom is considered. Have there been any democracies that have completely changed due to Islam becoming a majority? Again I do not know for sure.
The entire basis of me understanding the Muslims is from information I receive from the US media, where of course horrible events raise the ratings.
