I asked if 6:115 was correct when Allahsays his word can not be changed and Muslims say it can be changed he can change his mind. We know from the Bible the god of Abraham did not change his mind he is all knowing and his word endures forever...Is allah not the same God? Why did he say he was?
Apparently then, the Qur'an teaches that some verses that Allah has brought down have been abrogated - that is, they are no longer binding or applicable. Apparently, Allah changed his mind about some of the verses he gave through his prophet. In this Allah is different to the God of the Bible, "with whom there is no shadow of turning" (James 1:17), who is "the Lord, who changeth not" (Malachi 3:6), whose Word "endureth forever". The real God has infinite wisdom and cannot contradict Himself.

Why does Allah say he is the God of Abraham if the God of Abraham says his word can not be changed and endures forever?

Liaquat are they not the same god? This would make Allah a liar...I think if you do not question your god how do you know he is God? do you believe anything that is signed god? Satan would not deceive you?

Temsah this shows that Allah does change his word...I guess he changes his mind but it does not explain how this can be the God of Abrham who is all knowing and does not change his mind....The Qu'ran says they are the same god...hwo can this be and how can you trust scripture that changes and how does this agree with Allah saying his word can not be changed? We must surely agree the God of the Bible is not the Allah of the Qu'ran....Then why Temsah does he say he is? How can Allah be the God of Abraham? If he is not he is a liar because he say he is....I'm sure you are not understanding me and for this I am sorry I am not trying to confuse you but hopefully some will seek the truth. God Bless you Temsah I know you try hard to answer my questions.

I really love your convoluted questions.
They are so convoluted to the point that you have to modify them before any body answers any thing.
here is 6:115
[115] And the Word of your Lord has been fulfilled in truth and in justice. None can change His Words. And He is the All-Hearer, the All-Knower.
Although you are not giving any references to what you are saying all I can say is this
In the Quran some of the verses related to certain rulings were revealed in a gradual manner like for drinking win for example
1- it started saying that it had some bad and some good and the bad is more than the good.
2- then it prohibited Muslims from praying while they are intoxicated
3- then it made it absolutely forbidden.
Now did I answer your question or not? There is no chance in hell for me to know
All I will know is that you will pick some answers that will fit your prejudice and post it as the best answer as I have seen before like for this question
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Apel65gxsX.wh2NQRr6yJrnsy6IX?qid=20070207035427AA62tpg
Where the guy was making fun of the fact that he does not understand your question, nevertheless you choose it as the best answer to prove your point that every thing in Islam is vague
God bless
As usual you twist things to proof your point. Where did you get the idea that he is changing his mind it is just a gradual application of the law you take people gradually from being used to drinking win to completely stopping. Now you want to use this to prove that he changed his mind it is up to you.
I am quoting you here “We must surely agree the God of the Bible is not the Allah of the Qu'ran “ I am not buying this argument. You may be sure God and Allah are not the same but for me God and Allah are the same because it says so in the Quran.
Part of the problem that we keep having this deaf conversation, I think, stems from the fact that we talk the Quran as the word of God and we follow it. You on the other side, and I mean you personally, think you can add whatever you want to the bible whether this thing is Trinity or worshiping Mary or I don’t know what else.
Thank you for asking God to bless me, May Allah bless you too. Please try to be more thoughtful about your question so people could understand your question and may be you can get a fruitful reply from posting them

When religious texts are translated there is often varying interpretations. The same thing happened in old testament times,as exemplified by the pharasee's & saducee's. These interpretations lead to twisting of the meaning of the original message. Then comes the fanatical defense of the version of the belief followed by contention between the different factions. Funny how it usually ends up that all parties are wrong.

I'm not a muslim, but you're right God and allah are not the same, and the Good Lord does endure and He doesn't change His mind. God has set down laws that we are suppose to follow and He has not changed His mind on any of them!

Okay buddy. Allah has not changed his mind about anything.. tell me how much of the old testament do you follow.
Why do christians eat pork?
Why are the rest of the books in the new testament contradicting to the old testament.
Before you make any accusations go home and read your bible or whatever you read.
I don't understand how people can make statements about others when they themselves are not perfect.
If you also read the bible you will see that it is not right to judge other religions... Learn to read please

If anyone thinks the Almighty God of the Bible and allah are the same they should do a serious comparison between them using both the Bible and koran.
They are not the same and never were....check it out.
There is only one God and His name was never allah.

"The word of thy Lord doth find its fulfilment in truth and in justice: None can change His words: for He is the one who heareth and knoweth all."
"Perfected is the Word of thy Lord in truth and justice. There is naught that can change His words. He is the Hearer, the Knower."
"And the word of your Lord has been accomplished truly and justly; there is none who can change His words, and He is the Hearing, the Knowing."
3 different translation of that verse. Al-Anaam, verse 115.
Are you comparing the Bible with Qu'ran, which is like two different things?
Edit: To Muslims, Allah is the same God as Christians and Judaism, but to Christians and Judaism, Allah isn't their God. Thus, you cannot compare for we are two different religions.
Also I must note that in our belief, the previous holy books were incomplete and completed by men, so therefore corrupt. But as we respect your religion, please respect ours.
Edit:Okay, let me talk in metaphors.
In Judaism, God taught them that 1.
In Christianity, God taught them that 1+1
In Islam, God taught us thatt 1+1 is 2.
That is according to our beliefs, and according to our beliefs as well, right now Judaism and Christianity are like:
1+2=1 and 1+1=3 respectively.
Therefore, we cannot compare.
Here's another example why we can't compare, in Islam it is forbidden to have sex outside marriage. In your religion however, it's permitted.
Therefore, I have no right to tell you it's wrong to have sex outside marriage just because it's not allowed in my religion.
Can you refer to me any verse that says it's a sin to have sex outside marriage?
And, isn't that what I see from you guys?
Oh wait, so now you're saying that doesn't represent all of you?
Then why do you say so to Muslims?

Allah Ordered Us To Answer You:-
The (faithful) slaves of the Beneficent are they who walk upon the earth modestly, and when the foolish ones address them answer: Peace;
Revile not those unto whom they pray beside Allah lest they wrongfully revile Allah through ignorance. Thus unto every nation have We made their deed seem fair. Then unto their Lord is their return, and He will tell them what they used to do.
