In 86:6-7 the Koran says, "man was created from ejected liquid- Proceeding from between the backbone and the ribs". This echoes the scientific error of Hippocrates who believed semen originates, from the brain down the spinal chord, before passing through the kidneys and finally out of the body.

Is this a scientifically accurate information?

Does Muslims believe this is the word / revelation of the supreme being who created the whole universe?

This is a point that should be addressed by Muslim scholars. Another point is that the Quran has never mentioned anything about man who can think with his bran in his head. All the verses in the Quran mention that a man "thinks" with his heart, which was also a common error by Aristotalis and Hippocrates.

Yes we do, the one who created us would know about us, and there are many verses in the Quran that are accurate, some describing oceans, some describing low oxygen rate in high places as mountains, some explain the life stages of a fetus and many more and all are proven to be correct, and I'm sure with more research more will be discovered.
