It clearly states in the Bible:
Genesis 7:11 In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.
- Please note that it was the second month, 17th day of Noah's 600 year when he was in the ark and it started to rain.
Genesis 8:13 And it came to pass in the six hundredth and first year, in the first [month], the first [day] of the month, the waters were dried up from off the earth: and Noah removed the covering of the ark, and looked, and, behold, the face of the ground was dry.

8:14 And in the second month, on the seven and twentieth day of the month, was the earth dried.
- Please note they left the ark the 601st year, second month, 27th day.
That would mean that he and the animals were on the ark for 375 days in total. Do you know how much food that is for all those animals? The ark was too small to house even the food.

Do you say:

1. Well I first of all I make the case, then I put all the little cogs and wheels in. or

2. Do you launch into a long and technical discussion of the machines you have used, the various sub-processes and the parts you bought in

If (2) and the child, when they grow up, starts to realise the full details of the watch manufacturing process and that, for much of the time you just sat back and let the machines do their stuff, is the now-grown child entitled to say you lied?

God was before all things – Col 1:17
God knows the end from the beginning – Isa 46:10
God created all things – John 1:3
Nothing exists without the power of God – Col 1:16

Since God knows what will happen before it has happened then before sin came into existence God already knew of sin. Therefore sin was in the mind of God.

in hell, what motivation do you have to go to heaven to be forced to worship the being that sent your family to hell?

wouldnt it seem hellish to have to give praise to a being who sent your family to be tortured? so isnt it like choosing between 2 hells?

Why do you assume that we believe that you have to be a Christian to go to heaven?

Don't you realize it's a condition of the heart and not a label? Tell me, where in the Bible does it say, "And Jesus said, thou must be a Christian to enter the Kingdom of Heaven" or "Only Christians shall enherit the Kingdom of God"?

Going to church for my whole life has given me quite the amount of information on christianity. Ive agreed with most of the ideas, but there is still one part that bothers me. According to the bible, it is a sin to be gay or lesbian. God made Adam and Eve so man and woman could be together. some extreamest even claim that gays can not go to heaven which clearly does not make sence but whatever. Another basic belief is that god is creator of all things and he makes every being to be perfect. This, however, contridicts itself because if god created everyone, why would he create people that would be natural sinners (gays)? im sry if i offend anyone, that is not my intent, but i simply wonder why god would create people do be sinners?

I mean, to think that there are GROWN adults out there who still believe the story of Noah's ark and Lot's wife...it makes me pity them...

It makes me tear up a little. Perhaps it's not their fault they ended up this way? Perhaps they were spoon-fed this "knowledge" as a child?

Aww.....those poor Christians...

Seriousley, Don't get me wrong gods and jesus are cool and all but most of us are so wrapped up in religion that we forget ohter people! I dated a crazy religious perosn and guess what? Yeah didn't end well. ***** wouldn't even open a fortune cookie! she thought that they were eviI! Seriousley can we just be moderatley reliogios without it coming tot he point where we can't open a damn cookie? I mean sure we still want to SUGGEST our religion to people but we don't want them totally force them to it. We don't have to guilt trip them into it either. The reason they should want to be a christian isn't because they fear that there going to hell it's because they should want a relationship with god. If they don't thats ok. We should respect them for whatever they want. Thats why people hate us. Isn't christainity about acceptance? and most the christians aren't very accepting. Can't we be more like that instead of what we are right now?

God has more "credits" to his name than...anyone! He uses fire and drowning, and sometime contracts help.

I think morality based on aesthetics is pretty shallow.

I'm not saying I think eating horse is a good thing:
I'm just saying it's not any less moral than eating chicken, beef, etc.

Why is it that whenever I've told a Christian that I've eaten horse meat they scream "OMFG YOU SINNER! YOU CAN'T EAT HORSES!?!??! THAT'S SO.....WRONG!!!"

My mom is divorced. If she remarries would she be an adulteress and potentially go to Hell when she dies if she doesn't repent?

Vestigial structures are anatomy anatomical structures of organisms in a species which are considered to have lost much or all of their original function through evolution. These structures are typically in a degenerate, atrophied, or rudimentary condition or form. Vestigial structures are often referred to as vestigial organs, though not all of them are actually organs.

God created us perfect, and in his image? Then why do humans have imperfections, here is a couple:

The vermiform appendix is a vestige of the cecum, an organ that was used to digest cellulose by humans' herbivorous ancestors. Analogous organs in other animals similar to humans continue to perform that function, whereas other meat-eating animals may have similarly diminished appendices. The modern functionality of the appendix is still controversial in the field of human physiology, although most scientists and physicians believe that it has little or no function.

Why do most Christians pick and chose parts of the Bible to follow? More specifically, why do most Christians not cover their hair and then target Islam, saying that it's oppressive to women because it says women must cover their hair?

Don't believe me? 1 Corinthians 11 says women should cover their hair. Early Church Fathers like Hermas, Clement of Alexandria and Tertullian mentioned headcoverings, and Christian art shows women wearing headcoverings.
