The arguments for the existence of God do not seem to require that God be a conscious being.

Naturally, the Judeo-Christian God is assumed to have quite a personality.

But from a purely ontological point of view, is it a logical requirement that God be conscious?

If you don't know anyhting about a subject why would you persecute it. Masons are a good group who through their efforts make the world a better place. Why persecute them on heresay and not personal knowledge of the group?

requests and then other people in the group volunteer to pray for that person. And then we go around in a circle and pray. I have not volunteered to lead a prayer outloud yet out of fear. I try to observe what phases and things they others use and say, but all that doesn't seem natural to me. How do you lead a prayer out loud. Any good tips or advice?

The evolutionist wants to pressure you psychologically to try to show you that somehow the intelligent majority somehow believe in the accuracy of science and the falsehood of the scriptures when in actuality most of the intelligent men/women are turning in awe to the flawlessness of creation. One example they use to test a rock for age. Before they can calculate the age of a rock from its measured chemical composition, they must assume what radioactive elements were in the rock when it formed. Then, depending on the assumptions they make, they can obtain any date they like.

It may be surprising to learn that evolutionary geologists themselves will not accept a radiometric date unless they think it is correct—i.e. it matches what they already believe on other grounds. It is one thing to calculate a date. It is another thing to understand what it means. Another inaccurate test of the evolutionist? Please ask Jesus into your life today to forgive you and he will give you peace and life.

In a fire to you and you may never find physical proof of Him. It`s about FAITH;FAITH;FAITH;FAITH. Faith is knowing that He is; real; when you do this then He appears in different forms. So theirs nothing you can do to disprove to people who truely know~s He is REAL.

My wife and her best friend had a close relationship like sisters. She died in a car accident in 2004at 30 years old. She left behind her one year baby and husband. It has been a very difficult time for my wife, but lately two strange things happened. About 3 months ago I had a dream in the morning where she said to me tell everyone I am ok and happy. I didnt think tooo much about it when I woke up other than that was weird. I did not want to tell my wife because it would upset her. But, when I got up, my wife said my 3 year kept pointing to our kitchen all morning saying "Mommy, who's that?" This went on for like 30 min and nothing was there. Very strange. Another incident happend recently where I had a dream she said to me her husband was leaving her. after that night, her husband came to our house and said he has been dating someone for 3 months and it may get serious. this is the first time he had anyone serious since her death. It is starting to freak me out.

I think that science, art and spiritualism is all the same. There are many things that science can't explain that religion could if scientist would open up to the unseen in some cases. There are a lot of things that science can explain if religion open thier minds. If the two combined Exploration would soar into the unknown without restraint but with regard to human morals. If science and religion were one it would become art. Thats My opinion. Whats yours?

Let’s take a look at the top three arguments people use — along with some solid answers.

“Maybe Jesus wasn’t really dead, and He just rolled away the stone himself.”

Right. A man who has been beaten, tortured and mutilated for hours is going to lie unattended for two cold nights in a tomb and suddenly find the strength to roll away a 2-ton rock, fight off all the Roman soldiers guarding it, then show up convincing everyone that He has a glorious resurrected body. That would be pretty hard to believe.

And while we’re talking about His body, let’s not forget the blood and water that flowed from His side when the soldier speared it on the Cross. If He were alive, the wound would have spurted red blood. But in a dead body, the blood separates into massive red clots and watery serum, just as John described it. (See John 19:34.)

“Maybe the disciples moved Christ’s body.”

Hmmm, let’s consider the facts: A group of men who have dedicated their lives to a teacher who insisted on

???

A baby born with aids???
An innocent child who was raped and murdered???
A desperate and lonely adolescent with no one to look up to other than a drunken single mother????

Do we really think that our God is so evil to punish the "seemingly" innocent ones with such harsh measures?

I think that the concept of reincarnation (alomng with Karma )answers some of these disturbing questions.

What do you think?

I ask because historically, you've often been wrong. An easy example is the hard fight you fought to preserve the institution of slavery and later, segregation. These movements were both based on your interpretation of biblical scripture, but I suspect few of you would still defend those positions today.

Now there are other issues like gay marriage and stem cell research, to name just two. How can you be sure you've got it right this time? And how will people 100 years from now regard your position?
