Let’s take a look at the top three arguments people use — along with some solid answers.
“Maybe Jesus wasn’t really dead, and He just rolled away the stone himself.”
Right. A man who has been beaten, tortured and mutilated for hours is going to lie unattended for two cold nights in a tomb and suddenly find the strength to roll away a 2-ton rock, fight off all the Roman soldiers guarding it, then show up convincing everyone that He has a glorious resurrected body. That would be pretty hard to believe.
And while we’re talking about His body, let’s not forget the blood and water that flowed from His side when the soldier speared it on the Cross. If He were alive, the wound would have spurted red blood. But in a dead body, the blood separates into massive red clots and watery serum, just as John described it. (See John 19:34.)
“Maybe the disciples moved Christ’s body.”
Hmmm, let’s consider the facts: A group of men who have dedicated their lives to a teacher who insisted on

insisted on truth and honesty are suddenly going to turn into liars and swindlers. And each of these self-seeking no-goods will be willing to face poverty, incredible hardship, torture and even death to perpetuate that lie. Not a chance.
Then there are the Roman soldiers. Considering that they were the best fighting machines in the world, it’s not likely that the disciples could overpower them and knock them all out. But even if they could, why didn’t they hurry and race off with the body before the soldiers came to, instead of painstakingly unwrapping all of the burial clothes and neatly folding the facecloth before making their getaway?
“OK, so maybe the soldiers stole the body.”
Hardly. Think about it: The very people who have been assigned to make sure that Jesus’ body isn’t moved decide to move it. What a neat practical joke to pull on their superiors. Of course, it would mean their execution for becoming traitors, but what’s a little death for a laugh or two?

While we’re looking at evidence, let’s not forget that His resurrection was something Jesus had predicted time and time again. Then, of course, there were all those Old Testament prophecies.
Once we’ve looked at all the facts and carefully examined the arguments, we would need more faith to believe that Jesus did not rise from the grave than to believe that He did.

ABSOLUTELY!!!!!!!You are so right!!!!!!!! I am so excited that there are still people out there. And I know that the younger kids in my school were studying that recently, and I was wondering what some of the theories were and obviously, the proof that they are wrong. Yes, you are right, it would take more faith to believe that they did remove Jesus' body, than that they didn't. I am so glad, I am a Christian and can see the world from both sides, and I am SOOOO GLAD I have seen it from both sides and the truth is, I honestly do NOT know how anyone could elive otherwise.

There may have been a man named jesus who was crucified. But rise from the dead? Don't be silly!
Are you seriously trying to do an "investigation" of a crucifixion and subsequent matters, 2000 years after they supposedly happened?
We barely know who shot Kennedy or why, less than 50 years after it happened. And this is with video cameras, audio cameras, and hundreds of living eye witnesses.
There is only vague hope that anything in the bible resembles the truth - even in the new testament. Most of the jesus story mirrors several myths of hero/saviors of the time.

Crucifixion was common back then, along with other methods of death. Do I believe the Jews had Jesus killed because they didn't like what he was teaching? Yes. Do I believe Jesus is God and rose again? No.
Keep in mind that the gospels can't even agree with each other as they were written decades after Jesus died. Many scholars even agree that a couple books were copied from the others then edited, and none were actual eyewitnesses for that reason.

Yes Amazing that prophesies were made thousands of years before Christ and were in all of the scriptures then this man Jesus came and fulfilled all of the prophesies of a savior...If the disciples had decided to fake the resurrection and did not believe in his resurrection it surely was foolish of them to choose to die rather than deny him...that's taking a gag to an extreme isn't it?
None of these are as crazy as the Muslims belief that God himself was involved in this elaborate hoax to fool people into believing Christ was crucified...and allowed those who believed in these prophesies to be led astray and then 600 years later God...Allah in this case reveals it was all a big joke and apparently Allah has a seriously evil sense of humor to lead prophets to foretell of this and then deceive all the people that existed for thousands of years and then to tell Muhammad it was all a big hoax..The fact is without the atonement we are all dead in our sin...

All true.....Jesus did all of this out of love for us. I am so thankful that He did. It is a death that I would not want to face. The facts are all there, you can ask any one in the medical field and they will tell you the same thing. Jesus did raise from the grave and now He is in Heaven preparing a place for us so that one day we can be with Him for eternity. Isn't God wonderful!

Before His death the disciples ran in terror.
Nobody dies for a lie they know is a lie, yet most of the disciples died horrible deaths because they knew for a fact that Jesus rose again, & so would they.

It's not what we think it's what the Holy Scripture says. Read it and believe it and God will open your eyes. You will discover something each time you read it.
I would start with 1&2 John, John Luke, Genesis, exodis, leviticus& revelation. with a good study bible,I prefer the New king James Version.KJV, NaSB andsome others are Ok. Just read them for yourself and ask God to reveal it. sooner or laterr he will.God Bless

All I have to say on this matter can be summed up in http://www.JesusNeverExisted.com
The man was based on other cultures mythology. The character Jesus isn't all that original. I do not believe that he really existed because there is no historical evidence to support that.
