There is no such word in the English language. Do you have the spelling right. Your asking this question in Religion & Culture, in what context is this word being used?

My dictionary has 2 meanings for shoal/s but neither is religious

1)a large number of things or people:
- In the summer, tourists visit the city in shoals.

2)a large number of fish swimming as a group:
- We could see shoals of tiny fish darting about.
- Piranhas often feed in shoals.

3)shoal (RAISED AREA)
a raised bank of sand or rocks under the surface of the water
