The word of God is eternal and does not pass away and and to change it brings a curse from God. And the scripture states all men have sinned and that all men are liers. In the catholic church you have men whom you call priest and a fellow you call the pope. Do these men lie and are they sinners or is God a lier.

If someone like me rejects what you have to say, why can't it stay that way. Where is the repect you claim to have for others. Why do you keep coming back, and why do you become indignant and threatening?

Whatever happens will happen, and I can't change that, but logically, I'm not convinced that they'll ever be a global war or widespread nuclear fallout and so on. I don't think they'll ever be a WWIII. People are violent and controlling when they're restless, but technology keeps people active and stable. Knowlegde is so much more accessible than it was 70 years ago, and with people learning and reading, it's less likely for millions of youths to pick up guns and fight. It's just not something people want to do when they have their computers and TV. This is only the beginning of the Digital Age.

In the word of God Deuteronomy 18:10 -12 God in instructing the priest. 10: There shall not be found amoung you anyone who makes his son or daughter pass thru the fire or one who practices witchcraft, or a soothsayer, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, or one who conjures speels or a medium, or a spiritist or one who calls up the dead. 12 For all who do these things are a abomination to the Lord.
In this passage you will note the word spiritist. A spiritist is one who incorperates science philosophy and religion into there form of faith. It is impure. Does the catholic church engage in this activity.
You will also note that this speaks about calling up the dead which is what happens when you pray to the dead. Does the catholic church practice this activity.

In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful.

Verily, in the creation of the heavens and the earth and in the alternation of the night and the day, and in the ships which sail in the sea with that which profits men, and in the water which God sends down from the sky and quickens therewith the earth after its death and scatters therein all kinds of beasts, and in the change of the winds and the clouds pressed into service between the heaven and the earth - are indeed Signs for the people who use their understanding.

The life of this world is made to appear attractive to those who disbelieve; and they scoff at those who believe. But those who fear God shall be above them on the day of Resurrection; and Allah bestows His gifts on whomsoever He pleases without reckoning.

Remember the time when Allah said, 'O Jesus, I will cause thee to die a natural death and will raise thee to Myself, and will clear thee of the charges of those who disbelieve, and will exalt those who follow thee above those who disbelieve, until the Day of Resurrection; then to Me shall be your return, and I will judge between you concerning that wherein you differ.'

I myself am a Christian, however I have many Catholic friends, hence where my question is coming from.

I don't agree with much of what is taught in Catholic churches. I know that we ourselves are capable of speaking directly to God, to confess, and ask for his forgiveness. However, it makes me wonder if confessions, especially private ones, would not help deal with guilt, and give motivation to continue in the right path?

Many of us are often carrying guilt, and are to embarrassed to speak openly about our sins. Pastor's will speak with us, and offer us counsel, however, facing them is often difficult; not to mention openly speaking of our sins with others from our congregation.

I think having a discreet outlet to confess, and feel relieved, would make it a lot easier for some to seek help. Any thoughts?

I am a moral person that has the same wants, needs, strengths and weaknesses as any other human, but I have never needed a god. Now show me you can answer for yourself by not using bible quotes or reciting a sermon.

I am sick and tired of non-believers denying the existence of the all mighty Flying Spaghetti Monster and challenging his powers!

Don’t you know that if you deny his greatness you will never enter Blissland, place of extreme bliss; you would enter Fireland where you will burn for all eternity!

This is no laughing matter! Repent fools or face an eternity in Fireland!!! Burn non-believers burn!! There is no hiding when the day of great tomato sauce will judge you.

A wise old man I met in Greece told me that we will transmute into what we believe most, it's our choice, and if we believe in nothing, so shall we rot into nothingness; if we believe in something, our souls will reside their for eternity - guess it makes sense to believe in God & Heaven even if we're not really sure.
