I remember reading a quote from I think a modern author, philosopher, musician, someone, suggesting the idea that Judas was the "true" son of god, as the sacrifice of creating such a universally hated figure to polarise people towards believing you was of greater meaning than the sacrifice of Christ.
Has anyone heard of such a quote? It was written in a fairly "dramatic" style I think, yet I can't find it anywhere.
This isn't a question about whether the above idea is right or wrong, rather one to ask if anyone has heard of a quote alone those lines? And if so, could they point me to it? Thanks
