If a Christian sins, it is against his will. One who is regenerate falls rather than dives into sin; he resists rather than embraces it. Any dead fish can float downstream. It takes a live one to swim against the flow. Christians still experience temptations and can sometimes fall into sin, but they are no longer slaves to sin (Romans 6:6). They have God’s Holy Spirit within them to help them say no to temptation, and to convict their conscience of wrongdoing when they do sin.

Are you more concerned with getting an answer that makes sense on your terms, or an answer that may not make sense to you but is consistent with the beliefs of that religion--i.e., it makes sense to the religion's followers? Which would you look at as a better answer? (Assuming there is an explanation of the answer as to why it makes sense withing the confines of the religion, that is.)

A woman awakes one morning and laying next to her in bed is an unconscious man, apparently comatose. There is also standing above her another man who explains that her bed companion is a famous, Nobel-prize winning author.

The standing, conscious fellow points out that during the night, the woman and the author were joined by several tubes, and that at this moment, her body is keeping the author alive via these tubes. He needs her to remain connected to these tubes for a total of 9 months, at which point the author will again be able to live on his own.

However, if she disconnects the tubes before the 9-month period, the author will immediately perish.

IS SHE ETHICALLY BOUND TO LEAVE THE TUBES ATTACHED FOR 9 MONTHS?
OR CAN SHE ETHICALLY JUSTIFY CHOOSING NOT TO DONATE HER BODY FOR THIS TASK, DISCONNECT THE TUBES, AND ALLOW THE AUTHOR TO DIE?

Please detail your ethical reasoning. (Please focus on her decision based on the situation she finds herself in.)

I have no religion so can you tell me your religion and in a short direct way tell me why you choose this as your religion. I don't know what I am looking for but I'm sure I'll know it when I see it.

Why does God allow evil men and women to live? Should He instead kill them before they do evil deeds? Should He judge murderers and rapists now? What about thieves and liars, adulterers, fornicators, those who lust, and those who hate? If God judged evil today, all unconverted men and women would perish under His wrath. Thank God that He is patiently waiting for them to turn to the Savior and be saved from His terrible wrath.

I do regularly. You people usually make me stop and re-think my beliefs with your answers. It is usually a different person each time with the thought provoking answer too. No big gurus or anything. I just want to thank everybody and tell all of you, KEEP IT UP! And have a nice day!

Everyone, I mean everyone, has a different opinion on what God is, what their scripture means, who or who is not going to this or that heaven or hell. There is no consenses what-so-ever! Caholic Popes disagree with previous Popes, Christian faiths are so diversified they reek, Muslims are just as crazy as Christians. It's no wonder to me there's hate in this world just look at the mess religion has brought us. If there is a God that is real, from any religion I don't care which one, why oh why doesn't he put a stop to the madness before humanity destroys itself? Religion is not going to save the world or save your soul, so you'd better wake up and save your own @ss!
