5. None of the above.
If I had to choose one of your preset answers, 1 would be the closest, although not completely accurate. Religion quite obviously means something, since it's a hot topic for debate, but what it means is subject to an individuals perception. As a whole, religion is dangerous. Faith is beneficial, beliefs are beneficial .. religion is dangerous. Anytime you have a group of people lobbying for one particular thing it's dangerous, and religion is by far the pinacle on this one.
It is the source of problems around the world, true ... because no one religion can accept another. To accept another religion means to demean their own, and they might somewhere along the way have to admit they might be wrong .. which none are willing to do.
It is NOT a good system to educate children. Religion relies on scare tactics, a form of education children do not need. Not to mention that going by religion as an education system, you'd have kids believing that bats are insects, that the law of gravity doesn't apply in circumstances of mass escapes, and that carbon dating is inaccurate ... you'd have a mass amount of people ignoring factual science and proclaiming it as myth soley to make it coincide with their belief system.
Religion is a mind trap people allow themselves to live in. Nothing more.

My faith in God is 4. But most religions around the world are 1 + 2 unfortunately.

that there is a good away correlation between the inability of intense wondering skills, and a perception in faith. How else are you able to've faith in numerous contradictory beliefs mutually; mutually with an all understanding God that is conventional with each and every thing which will take position contained in the destiny and people having loose will? you may't have both. when I printed this as a question on R&S, ninety% of the solutions concept this became completely plausible. scary isn't it.
