No that is the Seven Day Adventist. Atheists don't go to church. The Jews and Muslims go on Friday.

Atheists dont go to church. Jews go to a church called the synogouge on Saturday, though

Typically atheists don't go to church because they don't believe in God or Satan, (therefore why worship?). The 7th Day Adventists go to church on Saturdays.

First of all, atheists don't attend church on any day of the week. Those that tend to worship on Satuday:
Jewish
Muslim
7th day adventist
Jehovah witness
Mormons--though I am not 100% sure about that one
The reason that we go to church on Sunday, is because it is to commemorate the day that Jesus rose from the grave. It has nothing to do with astrology. It was part of the new laws of Christianity. Jesus & the deciples did not go to worship or teach on Sunday, b/c there was no reason to-- he had not yet been risen.

Possibly you mean Seventh Day Adventists. They believe in the keeping of the original Jewish Sabbath, which falls from sundown on Friday until sundown on Saturday. They therefore attend their religious services on Saturday.

The only place I go religiously on Saturdays is to the corner bar for the billiards tournament.

Wow, but I do see your point... The religion of the parents is forced on their kids, and that makes the kids uneasy about attending, so they are technically but not officially Atheist.

well, until Y! answers I didn't think that atheist liked hanging around Christians, spiritualist,or any people who believe in anything other than themselves... boy was I wrong! they love being with us.. so they might go to church to hang out with some more cool people. who knows!
