Fear of death created the myth of an afterlife. Some people are absolutely horrified by the thought that this life is all we get and death is the end of the individual.

all of us comprehend that the 2nd the fertilisation happens interior the female physique, a soul is injected. we are in a position to call it as an Electro-purpose rigidity which cant be defined in terms of the understanding which human has in this international. And the 2nd a guy or woman dies, we are in a position to purely tell the soul has left. What has incredibly left the actual physique isn't popular to us. Like warmth, all of us can experience the warmth, yet never see the warmth. As power cant be created or destroyed for adult men, we end soul is a sort of power, it continues to be immortal. The author makes a decision later.

I believe the soul is immortal.....the ether, the essence. And it goes back to its Source, God, Creator etc. It is the vital breath breathed in the nostrils of Adam if you are a Christian, the incorporeal essence and eternal occupant of being for most Gnostics....which is from the Source that has no beginning and no end and incorporates all and is the All. Those things that die are those things which were not from the beginning and are temporary...like the flesh made from the dust and goes back to the dust where it came from.

Not all souls will be judged immortal. Some will perish which means to never ever be anymore. Death of this flesh body is not the same as the death of the soul. Your soul is your true self. This flesh body is just a vessel that temporally holds the soul while we are in this flesh world. The Bible says not to fear those who can kill your flesh body,...but to fear Him who can kill both flesh and soul;...But it also states that God wishes none to perish.....Bottom line,..that's your choice given in John 3:16

That's right. Followers of Christ will never die. That's what He promised. That's why the prayers of the Mass of Christian burial state, "life is not ended, only changed". And the change is from the most difficult part of our lives to the most glorious. Why fear such a change?

You will return to him . we will live forever in heaven with our father. to me this is just a very small part of my life. my life will truly Begin when i go home to be with my father. Read John 3:16 in the Holy Bible. It means what it says , Also I had lots of questions like you once I asked GOD to show me the truth and he did . So what do you have to lose Just say the words GOD Show Me You are REAL and watch. May GOD bless you on your journey and may the HOLY SPIRIT speak to you I will pray for GOD to revile himself to you.

I think it is not because they know that their soul is immortal, but that they know where they are going to spend eternity.

To quote Buddha, "You are not this body." To quote Jesus, "My Father has many mansions, I go to prepare one for you." Why are YOU afraid of the possibility of life after the death of this body?
