I've heard Louis Farrakhan interviewed several times and he appears to be very racist against whites. Is prejudice between races or wealth permitted in Islam?

I've noticed in several questions where people point out contradictions in the Bible that Christians just say that it is a mistake made by one of the scribes that was copying the Bible. They missed writing a 1 to change an age by ten years for example. If you can accept that these mistakes were made in the Bible from scribes, how can you accept anything in the Bible as accurate? I'll give you the benefit of the doubt with the existence of Jesus. For the sake of argument, we can say that he was a guy that did pop up occassionaly in Roman scribblings. There is NOT any other record of him walking on water or healing lepers. How can you take that for truth if you can admit that there are mistakes in the Bible? I'm baffled by this notion...

If you need a post with contradictions and the Christian reactions, just say so. I'll see if I can copy and paste the address of such a question which led me to THIS question.

I hear all the time how O.J was exonerated by the Jury, and how little evidense there was to convict O.J.. (But we all suspect he did it anyway). I find it odd that some of the same people who would defend O.J based on a lack of evidense can make the claim that Jesus is God without even having a scintilla of evidense to prove that.

In part:
"...in the nearer future, humans will evolve in 1,000 years into giants between 6ft and 7ft tall, he predicts, while life-spans will have extended to 120 years, Dr Curry claims.

Physical appearance, driven by indicators of health, youth and fertility, will improve, he says, while men will exhibit symmetrical facial features, look athletic, and have squarer jaws, deeper voices and bigger penises. "

Darlene has been posting various questions about errors and contradictions in the bible.
A number of respondants have said that these are an error in translation (that's a new excuse to me).
If that is so,how do you know the whole thing hasn't been mis-translated?
After all it's been translated so many times over so many years.

I just read a question that asked people of a certain group to defend their beliefs. Some people gave rational answers, but the majority of people gave rude answers and some of the answers were bordering on insane.

If you enjoy these people asking you to defend your beliefs...go for it, answer away. If they incite you in some way, that implies that you need to defend your religion. Trust me you don't. No one needs to defend their religion no matter what it is. What and who you worship is your choice. When someone that you don't know and can't see, says "OK RELIGION X followers defend RELIGION X" That is when you should not say a word.

This forum offers you the opportunity to learn about other religions and ask rational and respectful questions.

Some of the answers I see here would make me run from a variety of religions! YIKES...who wants to be a part of the madness that can be seen here.

Is there any other prophet besides Jesus who was born of a virgin? Prophets don't lie and he said he is God. And the Son of God. Why only believe portions? Because you believe it is corrupted? Know this Muhommades tomb is occupied and Jesus's tomb is empty. Jesus fulfilled ALL the prophecies which is around 345 in only 33 or so years. No man or other person will be able to fulfill just half of that in 100 years.

This isn't meant to antagonize Muslims, I like Muslims I've grown to learn alot about their faith. I believe they are kind people and it is just a small fasicist group who does the terrorizing. I'm simply asking why Not believe he is the savior when he said so. Even his works and miracles deem this true plus the prophecies ful filled.

There are many Christians who think they are
But truly not,
Smoking, drinking is one example
of false believer.
Think...
You were once stuck on a miry clay, and someone picks you up and puts you down in a safe home that you can use,...

Thats what Jesus did to you.
Even though you cant see it..
IT`s there, like air!
Tell me if you can see air!
Because I cant.
But we believe there is air we`re breathing.

If you think your saved by Lord Jesus Christ,,
You are on the right track. :)

"TOPEKA, KS—In response to a Nov. 7 referendum, Kansas lawmakers passed emergency legislation outlawing evolution, the highly controversial process responsible for the development and diversity of species and the continued survival of all life."

So, this is intended as satire. But do you think it might be a prophecy?
