I've been puzzled because of the muslims, everything we do is make them comfortable, giving them rights and on top of it we are hammering down Christianity at such a fast pace so we don't offend the so-called minorities (I think the english are the minority in their own country now). If you are living in another country you have to adapt to that country's lifestyle. The other day a muslim teacher (teaching english) was dismissed because she was wearing the veil. It bloody makes sense that if a kid doesn't see your mouth moving, the kid won't be able to copy and learn the language. It's something you just don't do. I don't feel sorry for the teacher, she should have had the brains to decide and teach something else, but not the language specifically.

ok, i don't mean this in any rude or offensive way
doesn't bother you that you do not get to celebrate Christmas?
I mean do you ever feel that you are missing out on something totally fun? What do you all do on Christmas? Or is that Adam Sandler song lying?

"To Moses We [Allah] gave nine clear signs. Ask the Israelites how he [Moses] first appeared amongst them. Pharoah said to him: 'Moses, I can see that you are bewitched.' 'You know full well,' he [Moses] replied, 'that none but the Lord of the heavens and the earth has revealed these visible signs. Pharoah, you are doomed.'"

"Pharoah sought to scare them [the Israelites] out of the land [of Israel]: but We [Allah] drowned him [Pharoah] together with all who were with him. Then We [Allah] said to the Israelites: 'Dwell in this land [the Land of Israel]. When the promise of the hereafter [End of Days] comes to be fulfilled, We [Allah] shall assemble you [the Israelites] all together [in the Land of Israel]."

"We [Allah] have revealed the Qur'an with the truth, and with the truth it has come down. We have sent you [Muhammed] forth only to proclaim good news and to give warning."

[Qur'an, "Night Journey," chapter 17:100-104]

Why do so many non-Christians dispel all of Christianity, because some Christians may be overzealous or too judgemental ??

I'm really wondering the 'logic' behind this stand.

I'll wait for and respect your answers, but I'd like to leave you with one last thought. . ... ... . .Christians are people. . .. .. People make mistakes. Thank you.

Could your inner voice be that which is "God" (You, me, everything and yet nothing?)

What if it was, and there were those out there who heard it all the time, and knew pure truth?

Do you think they would even be the least bit inclined to speak of it?

Do you have an opinion you wish to share?

That was one of the most overhyped let-down movies I've ever seen! It followed the typical Tom Hanks movie formula (which sucks in all of his other movies too!). I don't get it, why the hype? It wasn't even worth the advertising dollars spent on it! Okay, my question:

How many of you Christians believe in the ideas behind this movie and how many do not- good explinations please I want to see the arguments for both sides (and I'm offering to play referee- I'm an atheist) .

I have a question for those of you who celebrate Christmas from a religious instead of commercial standpoint.

Do you buy gifts? If so, is there a preset spending limit to prevent the celebration from becoming a financial burden? Is there anyone on here who's family does not buy gifts, but celebrates in a different way?

Do you read the Christmas story/attend church/read from the Bible on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day?

It seems to me that the holiday is more of a time to get together with family, exchange gifts, and catch up with each other and has very little to do with Jesus's birthday.
