To be a TRUE prophet one would have to be 100% not based on lies or bias but on true insight.

Brother dont get urself confused. Look at ur fingers are they thesame? So do people are not thesame- Some people are more equal than the others. Just among the people of todays world there are the jenous, briliants and not so good(muted).
Mohammed, Jesus and other prophets are special people to us. god the creator created them in other for them to regulate ans ensured peace among His servants. He therefore gave them the law and the wisdom which make them different to us.
Let me ask u, why do we look stupid in the eye the present of the scientific giants? may be because the are superior in the scientic world which count so much today. They are not prophets but are endowed with a small wisdom. If u lived in the time of any of the prophets u will be sure to be astound to their otstanding quality of leadership- Politically, religeouslly and othewised.
Please stop the selfconfusing and try to learn the fact and leave by it.

Nope. God's People are priests and kings according to the order of Melkesadech, [sp?] but not prophets. And Jesus was much MORE than a mere prophet.
How can the Koran agree that the Torah and Injeels are of God, yet still disagree with their message? Jesus declared Himself to be God, and He died on the Cross. Thomas had the opportunity to put his hand in His Side! I don't know about YOU, but that's something way beyond ME.

A very good question. I can see us all being prophets. People wanting to "spread the word of god." Does that not make a person a prophet?
And no, we are not different from one another at all. Whoever says they are is deluding him/herself. We are all human beings looking for a purpose on Earth. This makes us all the same.

I dont' believe we are prophets as individuals, but we are all entitled to recieve personal revelation and direction for lives from God.
Jesus Christ was more than a prophet, he was the Son of God and the Redeemer of this world. As for Muhammed, not a prophet, just a man, who has had his teaching horribly twisted by zelots.

God uses the prophets to speak only the word of God. True prophets do not speak for themselves in their on views or opinions on topics and subjects. God reveals through them. Jesus is not a prophet, He was God in the flesh.

No, none of us can be like prophets. All Prophets and Messengers were different from us.
Here are some reasons:
* They all received the same message from God (Allah) and had the responsibility of spreading it
* They all had direct connectiont to Allah through Angel Gabriel (Jibraeel)
* They all worshipped One God
* They all lived their lives for the Sake of ALlah
* They all called mankind to worship one God, Allah, and obey Him
and much more!

Your questions seem to have a sufi dimension to them. According to their esoteric vision, as the ultimate stage in his spiritual pilgrimage, a sufi is supposed is reach a state of mind where all borders (between God and Creation, the various creeds and religions, Man and the Universe, etc) vanish and all entities melt into one single entity. I suggest you read Ibn Arabi.
