The bible book of Psalms is really a grouping of musical praises, or prayers, to the Almighty. At least twice these written prayers refer to God as "a father".
(Psalm 68:4-5) Jah, which is his name; and jubilate before him; 5 A father of fatherless boys and a judge of widows Is God in his holy dwelling.
(Psalm 103:13) As a father shows mercy to his sons, Jehovah has shown mercy to those fearing him.
Interestingly, both Psalm 2:7 and Psalm 89:26 do *NOT* represent a prayer from the human King David to his Almighty "Father". Instead, both Scriptures prophesy the words of Christ Jesus. Psalm 89:20 uses the appellative "David" as a prophetic reference to Jesus Christ's sitting on the throne as God's Messianic King in restoration of the Davidic kingship.
(Psalm 2:7) Let me refer to the decree of Jehovah; He has said to me: “You are my son; I, today, I have become your father.
(Psalm 89:20-27) David my servant; With my holy oil I have anointed him... 26 He himself calls out to me, ‘You are my Father, My God and the Rock of my salvation.’ 27 Also, I myself shall place him as firstborn, The most high of the kings of the earth.

In various prayers, especially prayers of penitence, G-d is often referred to as 'Avinu Malkaynu", "Our Father, Our King".
But this should not be confused with the christian term 'Father' as referring to the father of jesus. In Jewish prayer, we as G-d to act towards us as a father acts towards a son, with love and mercy...not as the unreachable acme of a trinity.

God is sometimes reffered by Jews as "avinu shebashamayim" [our father in the sky (i.e- heaven)], and the Ashkenazi Jews often use the term "avinu malkenu" (our father, our king).
