Why can't you set goals for yourself and follow your own path? Why can't you accept your mistakes as your own? Is Jesus just a crutch for some people--- just an escape?

Seriously, this guy professes against homosexuality, then receives it from a gay prostitute while doing crystal meth...what the hell is wrong with this.

People on here always get upset at religious people for pushing their beliefs but have you ever thought to look at things through their eyes? Nonreligious and debasing beliefs and practices are on almost every television show, radio station, commercial and is the general theme of most casual converstions in the street.

I hear the word '***' at least 7 times a day from shows and conversations but if you even mention the word God once you are all of a sudden pushing beliefs.

I nominate myself of course, but do atheists rally behind one person or their ideals. Darwin perhaps? Sagan? Dawkins?

PLEASE READ ALL OF THIS BEFORE ANSWERING! DON'T MAKE YOURSELF LOOK STUPID BY NOT READING THE WHOLE QUESTION!
I would truly like to know your reasons for believeing in your God. This is not one of those haughty, stuck up remarks actually trying to get the opposite answer, but rather an encouragement of a discussion of what makes us believe what we believe. Please give a personal reason. NO "because the Bible says so" answers: anyone can read the Bible, why do YOU believe it? And if you are going to use a common reason like "how else would we have been created" please expand and make it personal. I am not looking for any kind of tangible proof, I understand the faith based nature of this matter. Thank you!

How do we know what's God's will? How do we know if the choices we make are the right thing, God's will? Is there a way or is it just by faith?

When they do not violate anything in the entire community guidelines ?
Are they determining the violations based on the community guidelines or from thier personal belief's ?

Serious Questions. i have now recieved three different emails stating that my answers are somehow in violation to the community guidelines, read them three times now and still do not see or understand why they were deleted, when i emailed them and asked to them explain it to me why they were deleted, i get nothing back, but a letter saying thankyou blah blah blah.
you know if a person breaks the community guidelines then by all means delete, but if it does not not break them why are they deleting, maybe they should improve on the guidelines instead of falsely deleting materials that are not against the guidelines, but against what they believe.

Never mind that the person chose to spend eternity in hell (still don’t get that one). The fact that a Creator would allow his creation to suffer for all eternity for 100 years of evil acts makes no sense. I don’t care if he is Hitler the math dose not equal eternity. My only conclusion is that G-d is sadistic or that eternal damnation dose not exist.
- I mean if the guy is a Hitler make him suffer than end his existance.

but what are your thoughts?

This ? is for my own benefit. I have been pondering and talking to family members- so i am know asking for other opinions- if you have something sarcastic to say please kep it to yourself.

Jesus was a Jew, fact! If we are to follow in His footsteps...
Shouldn't we be Jewish? In the true religion sense. We know there are false religions, but how does someone know what religion is the true religion. Just wanting different points of view.
Thank-you!

I totally understand that not everyone feels the same way or believes in the same thing, but why do people feel the need to push their views onto others that don't agree with what they were raised on? I personally feel that everyone has to realize you're entitled to have your own view on things and shouldn't try to make people feel differently, what's your take?

The heroes saved lived, kept families from suffereing, and gave their lives for their fellow american. They don't believe Jesus is God because they have no evidence, and they live good lives.

The pedophile rapes dozens of little kids, ruining their entire lives, and hurting dozens of families. So 100's of people are harmed by his assault. Yet he believes Jesus will save his soul.

Who goes to heaven? The hero or the pedophile?
