And why would we worship a god who favors pedophiles over heroes?
Doesn't seem like a nice god. What motivation do we have to worship him?
Oh yeah, right, eternal damnation. So, we are supposed to believe the word of a god who has no qualms about tossing heroes into Hell. Yeah, do people really think that God would be good on his word? If he doesn't care about human life, then what makes you think he cares about honesty?

Your question presupposes that the priest who accepts Jesus is not penitent, that he is still capable of such actions and that he has nothing to offer.
Acceptance into heaven is not based on actions but on the condition of one's soul. According to the Bible, Paul was a person who killed many Christians prior to his conversion. In your example, the priest who committed these vile acts (and please remember that the VAST majority of those who have done such acts were not priests; priests are simply more of a media catch, and vastly more popularized. I personally come from a family directly affected by a priest who did such acts.) would have had to repented of their sins in order to accept Christ. Repentance is not simply an act of confessing sins, receiving absolution, and going out and doing it again tomorrow. The Christian God, with any serious reading of the Bible simply doesn't work that way.
Having anger at the Christian God over the actions of professed Christians doesn't make any more sense than having anger at guns because someone killed someone else with one. Not everyone that professes to be a Christian is actually a Christian. Basing your opinion on such as these leads to flawed logic.
If an atheist commits a crime, does that impugn atheism? Certainly not.
Just so you know, I'm not a Christian. I'm in fact a Pagan. I simply don't like people judging a religion on the actions of some people who claim to be adherents of that religion. The fact that you don't believe shouldn't cause you to hate a particular religion as a whole. And as an atheist, what difference does it make as to who a religion says gets to heaven anyway?

The Bible does not teach that all good people go to heaven. The Bible clearly shows that there are two classes of people. Those with the heavenly calling who number 144,000,referred to "little flock"(Lu.12:32).These ones have to prove faithful to God to death. And then there are those whohave the hope of residing on the earth. These ones are referred to as "great crowd" and "other sheep"(Rev.7:9;John10:16).
The Bible also says that there will be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous (Acts 24:!5)
The judging of who lives and who undergoes destruction rests with Jehovah God.

Neither one I would assume. First of all, the bible says that there are none righteous, so there is no such thing as a good person.
As for the pedophile priests, I highly doubt they have a genuine relationship with Jesus Christ. The bible says that you can know people by their fruits. A good tree does not bear bad fruit and a bad tree doesn't bear good fruit.

Neither except they repent(turn from their sin) and get carry of Jesus as their Lord & Saviour. human beings all have a sin nature and choose Jesus to get to Heaven. they might desire to settle for the unfastened present of salvation that Jesus provides them. In John 14:6 Jesus replied, “i'm the way and the reality and the existence. no person contains the father different than by way of me. See additionally: Ephesians 2:8-9 For that's by utilising grace(undeserved forgiveness)you have been saved, by way of faith—and that's no longer from yourselves, it relatively is the present of God—no longer by utilising works, so as that no possible boast. We cant get to heaven by utilising our works we would desire to settle for the unfastened present that Jesus gave us on the pass.

the priests. thats the power of forgiveness. the hero can get salvation too if he turns to God....but God doesnt force anyone in heaven...so by being athiest, the hero is refusing God in his life as his personal savior, and only through jesus and accepting him will someone get that salvation. but on earth, the hero will be more loved obviously, but God doesnt think like humans. The truth hurts sometimes...but i didnt invent it

You have been misinformed about entry into heaven.
Believers in the Lord Jesus Christ gain entrance.
Non-believers do not.
It is not "good people go to heaven, bad people go to hell." (You're confusing this with Santa Claus.)
What we know of heaven, we know because of the Bible. Read it to find out the truth of what is required to go to heaven.

Anyone who accepts Christ has all their past sins forgiven.
Being good or a hero will never get you into Heaven.
