There's a lot wrong with it. The hypocrisy is so disgusting. This should make some people question what they believe and why! Hopefully this will be a wake-up call for some.

To be sure, it was a hypocritical thing to do. It's a shame for his family.

But to point and laugh at the downfall of people you dislike or disagree with is rather juvenile. There are evil men in the world. There are evil men and women of every race, color, creed and religion. No one is perfect. The greatest politicians and leaders all make mistakes, and the best of us are fallen.

Yes, it was hypocritical of him. But to harp on his hypocrisy just to prove a point about religion in general isn't very logical, and it makes you look like you have an axe to grind or a chip on your shoulder.

Actually that doesnt surprise me. Assume for a second that there is a God and Satan. Wouldnt Satan send the majority of his temptations and lustful thoughts toward people trying to do God's work. People think being a Christian is some easy cakewalk but you get bombarded by thoughts and temptations all the time and unless you dependent totally on Christ.

And another thing is when Satan wins over one of these people it is the greatest victory ever because that one persons hypocritical actions turns countless people away from Christ. If I was Satan Televangelist would be my number one target all the time

Yes it is humorous and hypocritical, but then again have you ever thought how catholic churches are so rich when what Christianity teaches is loving your neighbor and sharing everything with each other? I sure can find some good use for some of the treasures buried in Vatican.
It seems to me that this is a trend you can find in any kind of temple.

There's nothing humorous about it, but hypocritical, sure. But then we're all hypocritical because none of us is perfect. Christians are held to higher standards because of what we stand for, but we ALL have our weaknesses. He will pay the consequences the same as all of us.

He's not the only one in that position of authority in the church to be doing such things. Others will have their "outing", too.

It happened to Rev. Paul Crouch (head of Trinity Broadcasting, husband of pink-wigged Jan Crouch) a few years ago, see the attached. Gee, I wonder who does Jan's makeup and pink hair. Hmmmm.

Oh yeah, nonbelievers love when something like this happens, just so they can shove it into the faces of other believers, "look at how your people act."
I'm not condoning what he did, or trying to explain it away. He messed up, and he got busted, and now his whole life is over. Atheists are always talking about tolerance, and not judging someone, but something like this happens, and they're practically dancing in the streets.

Why do non-Christians expect perfection
from those of us that are?

Are your lives so perfect that you cannot have empathy towards someone who fails?

At least when a Christian fails, he or she has the forgiveness of God available.

When non-believers fall to sin, they just add wood to their own pyres.
