I would like to get opinions about different religions in a relationship leading on to marriage. Do you think it would work out or do you think there is no way it would work? If so, please state your reason. I'd like the answers based on Muslim and Catholics please. but any opinion is welcomed. God Bless..=)

Yet another annoying question on my mind. This question is for both religious and atheist. For atheist I would l like to know if you are offended by the words "In God We Trust" that appears on US money. For the religious I have a question you have to use your imagination a bit, buts lets say that atheists were the majority in the country and it was decided that something like God is not Real would appear on our money and bill board read stuff like God does not exist and such slander would you not be offended? Once again I am not trying to pick a fight but would like honest feed back. I realize that this is quite controversial buts lets all try to keep this decent. BTW religious people I want to thank you for the feed back on my last question Thanks for spending the time to answer and not getting out of hand or anything Once again I apologize if any one is offended by my weird questions and comments I am here to learn.

I don't really believe in God, myself, but people keep saying 'he's real and he's great'. If he's real, he's got a rotten sense of humour if you ask me.

There is ZERO indication that god made more creation, so where did that bacteria and insects come from? Perhaps EVOLUTION? Creationists usually say that evolution violates the law of biogenesis (false, but lets assume it does), so then creationism would too after the flood.

Is there an in between? Are there lost souls that do not know they died and they hang out on earth around us, only that we do not see them? Do they take energy from humans by getting attached to their auras? How can they get to the other world? How can we guarantee that our souls will get to heaven instead to stay on earth? Do spirits see the living or they only see spirits?

We have a debate in our house about religion (Jesus) and goverment.

Should they work together hand in hand?

Or should they stay separate? Separation of church and state.

One of us says, totally separate but active in both.

One of us says, totally together.

btw. we are in the United States.

We read in Isaiah 7:14, "Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign: Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel." This Scripture was fulfilled 700 years later, when Mary gave birth to the Lord Jesus Christ in a stable in Bethlehem (Matthew 1:22-25). The dear Catholic people believe that Mary is eternally virgin or "ever-virgin" but the Bible does not support that view. We read in Mark 6:3, "Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, and Joses, and of Juda, and Simon? and are not his sisters here with us? And they were offended at him?" A similar passage is found in Matthew 13:55-57. These verses tell us that Mary and Joseph had children AFTER Jesus was born. If the Catholic church is incorrect about the "eternal virginity" of Mary couldn'y they be wrong about other teachings?

Just wondering. It's got to be one of the best free tickets ever to be born again. Once we do it, Jesus has saved us no matter what we do.

Not that I go around doing evil things, of course, but I'm just wondering what kind of mischief you might have gotten into, but feel blessed about because Jesus died on the cross for your sins?

Thanks.

I once read a question from a christian brother expressing his bad feeling when a Muslim called him infidel, I replied to him saying that the man who called you that is stupid and ignorant etc, because our holy Quaran never said that about christians, on the contrary, Islam considers Christians as brothers, even allowed marriage between people of the 2 religions, same with jewdaism, but let me show you how he replied :

Oh you are MuhamMAD is it?first of all, please refresh your english empression is spelled impression. you have no right to come and speak to me you terrorist paedophile arabian moon worshipper.
your prophet was a rapist, murderer, pirate, paedophile and a cheat. what the hell do you think you are coming to talk to me like this you illegal immigrant nomadic desert pirate....

this is his nickname to prove i am not telling a story "Domoteka" , i dont think he will deny it at all . . but what i am saying is, what do my Muslim and Christian brother think about that ?

I am new to going to church, and decided to start going to a family members church. It's an Apostolic church. They believe that you cant truly be saved until you recieve the "holy ghost", and that evidence of recieving "the holy ghost" is displayed by speaki8ng in toungues. Although I belive in Jesus, I have never spontaneously begun to speak in tounges, and I am not about to fake it "just to fit in". I think that most people DO fake it to be a part of the crowd.

Am I right or wrong? Please help me sort this issue out.

Thanks!

What people are really worried about is that more white British people are converting to Islam out of their own will and people are threatened by so many people converting.

Muslims have received alot of exposure recently because of 9/11 and people seem to think they are everywhere. There are less than 2 million out of 60 million.

Also just because some loudmouths say things like why do white women wear mini skirts doesn't mean the majority of Muslims say don't wear it. It means we object to it because of our religion, not that we really want all your women covered up, I am a girl and I want women to cover up because I think it looks classier. Not because I want to convert everyone in sight.

Like the British say : freedom of speech.

I really dislike it when Muslims drink alcohol or girls wear clothes that do not comply with modest dress but obviously anybody who is not a Muslim can do what they like- nothing to do with me and I have no right to say anything.

Jimmy Swaggart paid a prostitute to just " watch " what she does. Is it a sin or bad consumerism? People still follow him.

Peter Popoff, was exposed for using microphones and said it was the Holy Spirit communicating the peoples ills ( Full names and addresses too.) to him. He's a douche bag! Preying on peoples hopes. This guy is still on on cable television!

Rev. Haggard can decide which is most important, God, family, methamphetamine, or playing pitcher and catcher?

My vote still goes with Peter Popoff. What's your opinion?
